So I want to make masks from The Legend of Zelda : Majora's mask :crylaugh:

The thing is...I has no idea where to start :walkoff: I want to make at least 5 masks for my my anime convention that's in January, i'm willing to make any of the masks except for the goron, zora, and deku, i'm unsure if I want to do them :l

I want to know what material I should use to make the masks with ^.^

Thank you guys :wave::D

Well... I would start off using a strong, full length plastic mask bought at a craft store as your base. Here (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=mask+tutorial#/dscqu2) is a good tutorial to give you an idea of how to layer your base and make the mask you really want. If you don't have any modeling/sculpting experience before hand this may take some practice to get a smooth surface (especially for something like the keaton or Breman mask).

You could make it out of paper mache (:

Plastic mask or a mask done by yourself with layers of aluminum or something, followed by paper clay / sculpey/ etc for the actually top layer of the mask and for details.
