I'm doing a Secret Police/Himisu Keisatsu Vocaloid Miku cosplay with friends, and were all going to have our differnet props.
Miku's is a pair of handcuffs with a really long chain. Were talking a good couple feet minimum.

I've been looking everywhere for some, does anyone know where sells them[and ships to the UK]? Or am I going to be better getting some regular cuffs and buying some chain to extend them?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm being realistic and realizing the second one is far too long, aiming more about the length of that first one.

I know at american home supply stores, you can buy lengths of plastic chain. Painting them is a different story, because most of the plastic chains sold at home supply stores are yellow. Chains are most likely found on the internet, but due to their weight, they become rather expensive to ship, especially internationally. You're much better off finding a local home supply store and get the chain from there. The other consideration you need to be aware of is whether or not the convention(s) you plan to attend limit how long chains can be. For safety, most US cons limit chains to between 2 and 3 feet in length.

Just make them yourself. Pre-made you're looking at a good $10+, and then shipping, when you can get a set of kids metal toy handcuffs for maybe $2-3 and chain at most home improvement stores for under $3 a yard. You just use some pliers to pry open the toy chain, remove it, and replace it with the new chain. Its really simple.

Well my local home suppply store actually sells chain, but I never thought about plastic chain and painting it. hmn, I might have to go there and see what'd work out cheaper.

Thanks for the help, guys <3

Plastic chain would also be less heavy for you
