Visual K as a fashion is mainly about recreating things yourself. Cut up some black pants an sew in another fabric that's another shade of black, this will be low-key but stylish and certainly suitable. [: Masks, Eyeliner only on the inside of your bottom lid, skirts that are short in back, longer in front. [Easy with a pair of scissors], Asymmetrical shirts or off the shoulder tops are perfect.

thank you soooo much, yea it's a pain being the 13 yr old child of sheltering parents ugh, they're also against anything i do that has to do with Japan.I have a pair of skinny jeans that are black and blue with holes all in them that have black studded fabric underneath.

I know it says places to buy lolita but theres some good
v-kei finds aswell. ^_^ Good luck, and dont I know the story
of having strict parents. d:

also:http://www.visual-you.com/catalog/
and http://stores.ebay.com/Little-Chili-Shop
I'm pretty sure lokisa accepts money orders that
way you don't need a credit card to order stuff. ^^ Don't forget you CAN shop at places like Hot Topic and Forever 21 and add stuff to make it V-kei (not saying that Hot Topic or Forever 21 are v-kei!) xD

I wouldnt suggest putting eyeliner on the bottom of your eye lids though to me that looks more emo
Try somthing like this:

On a sidenote: You should perhabs get your parents some books about the 'other' side of japan. the one that's not cosplay, anime and co, but tradition and care for elders etc. (okay, it's still not the whole picture, but maybe they might get a bit more tolerant)

You had my deepest symphaty dear. I use to like that too, only until I get my ticket up to college, I save my VK look only for cons/ol gallery/local event, keep them out the parents eye.

watch some Hnaoto fashion show on youtube, lots of inspiration there for your DIY vk wardrobe.

feel free to tell me if you need to chat or anything, I digg vk style and fellow reita lover should help each other nee ^^

my mum thinks that too, my dad just thinks i'm weird and annoying as hell...i could be listening to rap where every word is either profane or talking about getting a chick/dude in bed so yea, i like my choices better....ughmy dad listenes to country and was in the us military and my mum is a total prep.

I'd love to dress more vk-isk, but I have trouble coordinating outfits.

I know how you feel, I'd rather listen to jrock over rap or country any day *shudders*
