Missing my other sock to my favorite pair of socks, missing the wires to make the screen show up on my wii to the tv, lost the dogs collar, missing a few cds, missing dvds, missing wires. and now the main thing i'm missing is my beyblade's rip cord for the first version of the launcher TTATT

SOCKS SOCKS SOCKS GOD DAMN IT MY FUCKING SOCKS.

They just DISAPPEAR. I can't keep a pair longer than a week before one's missing. Seriously. I was getting dressed today, left a PAIR of socks on my bed, left a moment, came back to put them on, and one was gone. Completely gone. X_X
My theory is that the underpants gnomes have branched out to socks.

And I can't find my chapstick, either. Which is very strange.

We say that the wall goblins took them.

Of course, I am notorious for having my keys in my hand and frantically looking for them. So who knows.

I didn't know there was a movie. I used to read book series like The Borrowers and The Borribles when I was little and I imagined those things running around and using my stuff I couldn't find. Stuff goes missing and turns up weird places. Or I swear I just looked where it was supposed to be and it wasn't, then soon as I enlist someone else in looking, it's right where it was supposed to be. Except for scissors and seam rippers; I must have at least a dozen each of those things and I can never find them.

I wish I could ask google "Where the fudge are my keys?" and it would tell me.

Now THAT would be awesome! Once I got this thingie to put on my keychain that would set off an alarm if you clapped or made a loud noise. Except my kids figured it out and they were constantly setting it off, so I had to quit using it.

Thats funny.

Yea earlier today i sat down and my keys unlatched from my pants or something and i dropped them and started walking him, i got maybe a mile or so away and realized i didn't have my keys TTATT and what was worse is that it was freezing balls outside and the only thing that i had as far as extra warmth was my hoodie. So i had to walk ALL the way back and search for my keys in the grass till i found them, walked all the way back and crawled into bed and went to sleep

I didn't know there was a movie.

It's called Cat's Eye (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat%27s_Eye_%281985_film%29) and in it there's this goblin/gnome/thing that hides in walls...

On Topic: I lose things so often, it's weird. I've currently lost a part of my sewing machine and I've looked everywhere for it. :waaaah:

Somehow I really often lose my precious Triforce necklace that a friend made for me, but after panicking for some time I find it inside my clothes or on the floor... And, I tend to lose the other pair of my favorite socks once in a while, too.... I don't like it.

I don't tend to lose anything else, though, which I think is a bit weird.

my socks don't disappear but my kid's do

most of the things that are missing aren't actually missing, they were stolen. the pants i wore for my covert ops havoc, a gold cat charm i had hanging from the rear view mirror of the car, my practice dart and gloves for fire spinning, and my $50 skullcandy dj headphones... i know who has them and i can't do anything about it

I keep losing this SD card of mine... and I can't use the one I have in my DSi because part of it's broken and it won't stick in my camera. (and the DSi camera is so terrible.)

My massively huge headphones. No idea where they ended up, but had to buy some new ones. I haven't seen them in months and they have a very specific spot when not in use. A mystery that will never be solved.

I had a bunch of make up that I bought back when I had a job and money. It's in a box somewhere in the storage unit.

Does that count?

The remote for the TV disappeared. It's gone. We moved furniture. Gone. GONE. This TV doesn't have cable. We hook up the computer to it and watch Netflix on it. So the screen needs to be sized appropriately for this. we can't without the remote so the screen i blurryish and oversized now. Boo. First world problem.

I tend to lose socks and underwear. Like, set them on my bed in anticipation of changing, look away and when I look back they've vanished!
Seam rippers vanish and reappear at the oddest time and in odd places.
I locked my walkie talkie and my keys in the epuipment cabinate at work last night. Meaning I had no way to call the manager to come help me.
