Here is the new movie costume Released by Marvel

I personally hate it. I think it is terrible interpretation of the costume. Looks like they recycled the same spider from the original films. It also looks cheesy and rubbery like the Batman costumes from the batman films of the 90s.

Garfield looks too skinny. I know he is supposed to be 5'10" 165lbs but seriously this skinny?

So what does anyone else think? Anyone think they would try to make the costume?

I like what they've done wuth it. I never really liked the "belt" on his costume

the costume is battle damaged and I think he lost the "belt" because you can see what is probably part of it on the right of the picture.

I take it back it that is the design

I like it, and I don't mind that he is skinny since this is the high school version before he has had time to bulk up. I think that is way better then adding a bunch of fake muscles to the point where he can't move in the suit.

This is the original Spidey in high school, thin for a hero but not skinny.

In the Ultimate Universe peter is much thinner than the original but he has the muscle mass and low body fat to make up for it, while garfield and the stunt actors have neither. Now I understand those are comic images, but did anyone see Hugh jackman in the latest wolverine movie? Thats the type of training needed to be in a spider suit.

We GET your point. You don't like it. Too bad. This is what the movie is showing us he is wearing. Maybe it's a prototype suit, maybe not. That's it. We get you don't like it.

I like it, and while he is skinny, he is also apparently quite cut. Plus it looks more organic and less 'spandex costume.'

I'm not a fan of this suit, but I can't judge until the movie comes out. Can't wait to see it.

Did he get the suit from Tony Stark? If not what is with the gold lenses. I want the rights to go back to Marvel so there can be a proper Civil War movie. That can't happen without Sony loosing the rights. So I will not pay one cent to see this movie.

I like the new costume: I think the specific shades of red and blue that they chose look really good and the materials are super nifty. As for Garfield's figure, I think it's a good fit for Spidey. I always thought of Spider-man having a physique more like a gymnast/dancer then a body builder, what with his fighting style, and since he was supposed to be a scrawny geek before getting his powers it makes sense that he wouldn't bulk up overnight.
It's the story that counts, though. Can't wait to see how that turns out :)
