This 'is' the off-topic forum, isn't it? :P
I watched it and voted for ya. =)
If you did indeed do the work on it, good job. ^.^

I know, right? Totally thought that too.
I found the whole title to be just a tad offensive, actually.

BUT anyway...

You might be, it didn't include the words 'cosplay' or 'western' that is normally indicative of such.

On the video: I don't get it.

Wow... in one sentence we hit sexism, racism and self promotion.

I actually thought we were going to discuss hot asian girls who have big boobs and wear lipstick. :c
Son, I am disappoint.

I am presently unable to watch the video, but I will say the inclusion of chapstick in the title of this thread makes me the most curious to see this video.

I'm strangely amused by this sentence --- more specifically, it's end.

I declare that this thread is now about chapstick.

I prefer Burt's Bees. It doesn't seem as gloopy as other brands I used in the past.

Honestly, I don't care for chapstick...
The only time I've ever used anything on my lips was when I had a job indexing loan documents and the air from flipping through the pages was horrible. Carmex was the solution for me. It's the best stuff for dry/chapped lips, in my opinion. It does taste horrible though if any gets in your mouth or you go to lick your lips. XD
Also... I don't see why everyone gets offended so easily. Life's too short to be mad all the time. =) Go go happy thoughts! :D

Apparently if you're stuck without lip balm and are suffering terribly, rubbing a finger over your nose (or forehead, or ear, or other oily bit of your face) and rubbing the resultant coating over your lips will help.

I would like a video of people doing this. I think it would be very cool.

Yeah, I also thought this was another Pak thread. XD

But, anybody with lip problems, look here.

I used to have veeery dry, painful and ugly lips till I discovered white vaseline. You just put it on your lips when you go to sleep and they will be perfectly moisturised and soft for the following day, no matter how much you drink or eat. You should be able to get it from the pharmacy. I actually heard about it from a dentist who always had to comment on my terrible lips. Those sticks of lip balm you can buy from a dollar store are trash, go to the pharmacy to get the real stuff that works. ( <- if you have bad lips even putting lip balm on continuously like I used to)

I'm sorry and hope this helps somebody.

if you had enough skin oil, you could probably run a bio-diesel car. that would disgusting and impractical though

This is what I use! One tub lasts forever and it's a lot harder to lose. I get some weird looks for carrying a jar of vaseline around in my purse though 0_o

thank you everyone who voted i really appreciate the help...and for those who dont understand humor you can go fuck yourselfs...just cause you dont look like the chick in the vid dont bash on my shit.

Your video just wasn't my type of humor. Stop being so sensitive, you need to learn how to take criticism. Not everyone is going to like your videos. /taking criticism is a very important virtue in life and it can potentially make your videos better if you take it constructively and work harder to make them appeal to nearly everyone.
BUT THEN AGAIN, I don't understand humor, so who am I to say? ;D

This chapstick advice is very helpful. My lips are so chapped in the winter, and it sucks that I must reapply every thirty minutes or so. Vaseline eh? Sounds like it would work.
I don't know if I should hope it's somewhere in my house though! xD

As far as chapstick goes, I like this cherry softlips stuff. It works nicely for me and it's cheap enough for me not to get upset if it gets lost.

But did NOT know that about the vaseline. Learn something new every day!

hurr my entire family uses vaseline. i don't like the feel of it though, but i do own a tub for when my lips get bad during summer.
otherwise, i have a tub of the body shop lip balm that i use for the rest of the year. it smells so yummy. <3 /totally biased.

Fascinating topic, chaps. Back on the topic of chapstick: (lol see what I did there) so the only kind that ever seems to help me is Chapstick Medicated. I have tried other brands and nothing seems to help but the Medicated stuff. I buy a lot of them and stash them everywhere. It is torture to be without any kind of lip balm at a convention with no convenience store around.
