Random topic yes, but I thought it would be kinda fun ^^ I have a wicked sweet tooth, so it's hard for me to choose, but I love those Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites. Fun-Dip has also been a favorite ever since i was younger. ^^
Your Turn!
What's your favorite candy? Chocolate can also be included if you like. ^^

Salmiakki. I have to order it online because it's Finnish. I've recently found the online store, Snyder's Candy, which carries a dutch brand of it. It's not exactly the same but I still love it and it gets here a lot faster because they ship from Delaware. For those not familiar it's salty licorice, it's weird but I just love it.

Edit: I want to share the story of how I first tasted Salmiakki. At NebrasKon, I was doing a casual Finland because my uniform wasn't done yet. Anyway, I ended up hanging out with this girl who cosplayed several Hetalia characters throughout the day. When she was Finland she had several candies that she offered people. She did warn me about it but as I love salt, I went ahead. It was crazy the first few seconds but after that I loved it. Once I bought my own, I knew what to except so it wasn't crazy then.

Maybe cosplaying Finland has been making me more like him?

Dear god, you think I have ONE favourite?
...hell no. I love too many sweets to name, but I'll list the ones I find myself buying the most....
-Curly Wurly. Import here in Canada from the UK, and damn good for the expense. Also a great way to stick your mouth shut for an hour.
-Gummi-Choco. Stumbled upon the tube of Japanese chocolate-gummy candy a few years ago and they are SO addictive.
-Sweet potato chips. Yummy.
- Turtles. They have a long history of being fought over like precious treasure in my family, but I found out you can get them in 3-packs like a regular chocolate bar and indulge quite a bit. XD Same with peanut butter cups. Particularly I love having one after the gym.
- When I was a kid, I LOVED Rockets. Not so big on them now, but I make sure to eat a pack at least once a year. Keep nostalgia alive and all that.

....I pretty much live off sweets, so I really can't list everything. But to put it shortly, if it's chocolate and doesn't have coffee in it, it'll be awesome for me.

And chocolate, preferably dark. I like sweet things, but not over the top sugary.

For a man with not just one, but 28 sweet teeth, I must name 28 of my most favorite candies.

- Chocolate chip cookies (preferrably my family recipe, which I love to bake) ^__^
- Snow Caps
- Semi sweet Chocolate chips (preferrably Guittard brand, very delicious and no extra junky ingredients)
- Candy cigarettes (the sugar-based ones, not the gum in the wrapper, although those have a cool puff when ya blow through them. Not to condone smoking, stick with the candy.)
- Ring Pops
- Banana Poare (inside-out pocky, banana flavoured)
- Sweedish Fish
- Butterfinger
- Mr. Goodbar
- Snickers (Yum)
- Pay Day (Yum again)
- Twizzlers
- Sweet orange drink (Mix 1/2 cup water, 2/3 cup orange juice, and 2-3 teaspoons of sugar)
- Peanut-butter cups (any brand will do, even home made)
- Chocolate covered pretzels/espresso beans/pistachios
- Life Savers
- Jolly Ranchers
- sugar/butter cookies
- Resses Pieces
- Milky Way
- Those strawberry hard candies with the gooey center
- Warheads
- Pop Rocks
- M&M's
- Sweet Tarts
- 75-85% dark chocolate
- Gummi Worms
- Botan Rice Candy

Alrighty, I got it down to 28. I had to take off several things, but this is a good start.

Cookies are not candy!

My favorite candy that you can get in most convenience & grocery stores is Mounds.

My favorite specialty candy would be dark chocolate molasses chips from See's, though their marzipan is starting to take its place as my #1 favorite.

I also have a soft spot for peppermint bark Ghirardelli chocolates, but I never got any last holiday season... :( Must find them somewhere.

You know what my problem is with Pocky? They're not chocolate-covered pretzels.

Anyway, I bought a "magic bar" (http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/magic-cookie-bars-from-eagle-brand/Detail.aspx) at school today from the culinary department, which is my current favorite candy (at least for today. I don't have a favorite candy, it changes all the time). Chocolate, coconuts, and walnuts? Yes please.

Milky Way. :)

@nyditch: Are you sure you really love all of those sweets equally instead of listing whatever ones you could think of? XD

Of course I don't like all of those equally all the time; there are times when I want one more than the others. Right now I have a craving for peanutbutter cups, but I'm eating Nerds and chocolate chips 'cause they're what I have. Sometimes I see a box of Nerds and can't help but buy it (how I got this one in fact). I keep a constant supply of chocolate chips to snack on, though it's not always what I'm craving, it does satisfy. With just this one snapshot of an example for one moment in time, it becomes easy to see how a list of 28 is plausible.

In conclusion, that isn't close to a list of what I like, those are the candies that I absolutely love and couldn't choose between. It wasn't hard to come up with 28. I don't mind you asking though, it certainly could have used some clarification. ^__^

In short: Yes, I love candy that much. ^_^

Kit-Kat. So freakin' delicious! But I'm on a low carb/no sugar diet right now so I can't have candy. This thread makes me sad, lol.

Michi - Coconut is so gross, IMO! And it's not even the taste of it that bothers me, but the consistency. If it wasn't so weird and gritty I might not hate it.

The secret to Raisinettes is to throw a box in with your movie theater popcorn.

Last night my husband brought home Swedish Fish for me because he's a sweetheart, which is great and all, but he said "I know they're one of your favorites," and I was like, "um... no, not really." He insists I said I loved them at some point, and I insist I can never recall a point in history where I was especially interested in Swedish Fish.

For the record, honey, these are my favorites:
-Reese's Pieces
-Symphony bars (or really any combination of chocolate, toffee, and almonds)
-Haribo gold bears
-Kasugai gummies, especially in peach, lychee, and white grape
-sour peach rings
-those gummy frogs
-gummy Coke bottles
-lollipops, especially gourmet flavors and/or those jumbo swirl pops
-Twix
-candy apples
-sour drops

Mmm, candy.

They're just generic strawberry hard candies, but I can never get enough of them.

Ah, those are amazing! They've got kind of chewy centers. I remember them fondly from my grandparents' cut glass candy bowls. I think when you become a grandparent you are legally obligated to keep a cut glass bowl of assorted hard candies, and also ribbon candy, which will never be eaten.

And at Easter, these. They were my favorite when I was a kid. I still get them every year. When I was little, Grandad would keep one in his pocket when he knew I was coming over. he called the "pocket rabbits."

They're called "Watermelons" in Sweden, but I have no idea what they go as everywhere else.

It's small pink candy that's SO SWEET, and I can't stop eating them! Usually that's the only thing I buy when I do buy candy:-)

I used to LOVE Butterfinger and Mr. Goodbar when I was a kid. Too bad Mr. GB tastes weird and BF just sticks to my teeth if I eat one =/.

Snow Caps and Sour Patch Kids. I usually buy one or the other when I go to movies. Not at the theater, though, since their candy is too expensive. No, we go to Wal-Mart so I can buy a 1 lb bag of Sour Patch Kids to stick in my tote bag until we get in.

I've heard through the grapevine that they are bringing back "Crispy M&M's." Why they were discontinued here in the states and not in Europe I'll never know.

Let the good times roll...

-Skittles are yummy...
-So is all kinds of chocolate. Milk, dark, white, with nuts or without, give me it! (Unless it contains raisins. D: )Some of my favorite chocolates are Toblerone and "FirklÝver"(a Norwegian chocolate with hazelnuts, the name means "Four-leaf clover") And, those chocolate eggs with cream that's sold at Easter!
-All kinds of sour gummy candy. Regular gummy is good too, but sour is better!
-Salty licorice.
-Mints.
-"Reverse" Pocky (those Pocky cookie rolls filled with chocolate)
-Haribo

But really, I love all kinds of candy... that's not marzipan. Never liked marzipan.
