I figured I should start a thread for photographers to discuss the subject or post some pictures not related to cosplay that they took. If you have any ones you want to show (PG-13 of course), then post them up.

Thank goodness I wasnt the only one that misread that.

Incidentally, I like the idea this thread proposes, but I feel bad about posting non cosplay-related photography on a cosplay site.

Thats why I have a DA account.

I love the idea, but I think it might be too broad simply being not-cosplay as the only requirement. I mean, I could post 1,000's right now. Maybe you might want to suggest weekly themes/moods/colors/etc. to narrow it down some?

So just random photos we've taken? I'll bite. I have an olympus e-volt 320..It's really not that great. But it does the job for my beginner needs xP I take pictures from time to time, I'm not really obsessed with it. Nor is it my passion, but I thoroughly enjoy it when I get the chance.

And I'll throw this in here since it's a little different :P

Looks like it is probably a Hornet. Where did you take the shot?

CNE International Airshow in Toronto. I thought it might be a Hornet, but I forgot to write down what was going by.

It was a pretty cruddy airshow compared to the year before when they had F22 Raptors... but I didn't have a good lens then... and that thing is damn fast!

Whats great is that I took this and went to the washroom, and when I got back the little prick had already popped out.

Those are GREAT pics!! I love how you got so much detailing on the hawk! I have an e-volt 300, and it does a fair job, though it's getting old enough and has enough "quirks" now that I'm thinking I need to get a more modern one in the next year or two!
