dark woods circusis like my dream costume, but i dont know what kinda fabric to use for the dress or hw to go about doing the makeup.. i was thinking aboutgong dark on the makeup because the theme of the video for darkwood is dark and sick but the location im planning on doin the shoot in is dark too and i dont wanna overload the darkness. does anyone have any advice??

I wouldn't go dark on the makeup. If the setting will be dark, the lighting will do most of the work. Also, Miku is not very dark herself.

I made my Dark Woods Circus out of a particular type of satin (Casa Collection; I love the stuff, and it has a nice sheen without being shiny). But I never got any pictures of me in the dress so I can't show you ^^;; But avoid anything really shiny; it makes the costume look cheap and Halloween-y. You want to let the cut and the embellishments on this dress do the talking, and shiny-shiny fabric SHOUTS.
