Did anyone see tonight's episode?
I know I am horrible for saying this, but his Lent skit at the beginning really really made my day.
What is he giving up? Catholicism XD He then proceeded to decided to be Jewish and redo his Lent pledge to giving up not eating Bacon.

(I apologize to anyone who that might offend...)

Um so yea, feel free to discuss or else post your favorite Colbert or Stewart moment.

Does it bother anyone else that his name is spelled wrong in the title?

It just looks...wrong D:

My favorite Colbert moments generally involve him singing, his voice is awesome and what he picks to sing is always some sort of hilarious awesome.

I thought the ice-cream thing he did a few nights ago was epic xD It had my entire family laughing. Another one of my favorite moments would be his iPad thing, where he used it to chop salsa and then the next night stated the iPad is not dishwasher safe.

Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head right now...maybe when it's not 2 in the morning I will thing of more..

He has a Captain America shield on his wall.

Other than his homophobia, I like him

Sorryyy, I can't spell to save my life >_<
The iPad skit was really funny though :D

Also also, I did not know he was homophobic...that sucks to hear if it's true...

The homophobia thing is part of his act (remember, Colbert is playing a character). He's acting that he's deeply in the closet and will gives hints that he's gay while making fun of gays with absurd logic. But he's doing it in a way that's making fun of the people who really do think like that.

Ok, that I got, I didn't know if he had some deep dark secret I hadn't heard of...
I'm pretty hard to make angry over jokes, so as long as it was on his show, I usually assume anything mean is in jest (obvi).

Heeee~ Yeah John's fantastic... I used to adore him, but there's a new man in my life now >_> Still, John's the TRUE "Papa Bear," so major kudos for his show giving birth to the amazingness that is the Big C <3

We all must remember its part of his act. He's actually roman catholic in real life, a democrat, and a sunday school teacher. He also doesn't let his kids watch his show, because he doesn't want them to think he's serious (LOL).

But anyways, i love his show <3 He's so funny on it.

I actually tried giving up Catholicism for Lent back in Catholic school.

It didn't go over well when the officials there learned I was serious.

It's not really a deep dark secret, it's just part of his act.

That was, without a doubt, the most amazing piece of guerrilla comedy ever.

I'm a long time fan of Stewart and Colbert. My favorite recent bit was this one about the Republican party trying to redefine rape (http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-february-2-2011/rape-victim-abortion-funding). Daily Show needs more Kristen Schaal!

FUCK, I missed it. D:
Wait, Comedy Central is airing it again tonight at 7:30!! Victory is miiine!!

And Vol, homophobia? Colbert isn't homophobic in the slightest. (His character is though.)

But I love Colbert with a passion, he is my role model and his show is able to cheer me up whenever I'm down.

It's 24 min. I recommend watching it in the privacy of your own home as hysterical laughter is a strong possibility. Whether or not it will have the same effect post-Bush is hard to say. I haven't watched it in several years. The first time I saw it though, it had me howling and pounding the table.

Colbert is even funnier if you go to a taping. He even spends some time answering questions out of character.

Have too many favorite moments to list, but one of the best is from early in the show. Someone from Faux news was the guest and he believed like many conservatives do to this day that Colbert is the conservative counterpoint to the Daily Show. Colbert zinged him with a question and you could see the fear in his eyes when he realized it wasn't going to be a bunch of softball questions.

Also love the Better Know a District segments and his testimony before an Agricultural subcommittee about the plight of migrant workers. Still pissed off I couldn't get tickets for that one.

Favorite Daily show moments are Jon Stewart calling out Rick Santelli on the economic mess, and Sam Bee's segment at the 2008 Republican convention asking people about Bristol's choice to have her child. Anything John Oliver does is funny, really loved his bit about the WGA strike, and his coverage of Wisconsin and the teabagger rallies.
