The reason for this is, I keep hearing that you want to 1 up your boot size when you order boots. Normally, I would use a size 12-ish, but I ordered a 13. If they come to being too roomy, what would be an option to keep them comfortable, yet, make them more snug?

Little bit more depth here. I am male. I got a male and female friend who wanted to do a crossplay rock group sort of thing, so I ordered these boots. I hear from my friend who already got a set of similar boots, that he is normally a size 10 m, and he got size 12 f boots and they fit him snug. I am normally 10.5, so I pushed to the 13 for safe measure and hopefully comfort. The boots are both going to be different ones, not the same, so I couldn't try his to make sure.

If they're a little too big for you just wear thick socks (the snuggly fluffy variety) or two pairs. That way they won't rub.
