the top looks good, but is there a pic for the rest of the outfit? I'd like to see the whole thing!

It does seem that some of your hair is peeking out. Maybe a wig head-stocking thingy (whatever they're called) might do the trick. Spirit gum works too to keep it from shifting.

cuuuute ears! <3<3

Nice costume - my one major suggestion would be to try and make your pants a little baggier. Inuyashas pants aren't straight - they tend to billow and poof out at the bottom.

One way to do it would be to make pants with huge legs and gather the material at the top. You can also use a pattern for actual hakama pants.

I suggested making pants but my mom refues to sew so...........-_-. But heck I'll nag her and see if she can get her friend to make me pants lol XD.

Or you could ask your mom to teach you to use her sewing machine. =D! The best way to make an accurate costume is to make your own.

Don't have a sewing machine but my grandma does lol XD.

The first thing I noticed, from the first picture you posted, is that the top doesn't seem too entirely accurate. It seems you have yours zipping up in front, whereas the actual costume is wrapped around--it is a kimono top.

My little nitpicky thing. Overall, it looks nice. Very sharp, and the sleeves seem good.

Thanks. Yea I tried crossing the top but it didn't work so I just zipped it up lol XD. It was an altered Confirmation robe. I need a long wig too lol XD.

Definately need poofy pants. Sewing isn't too tricky. Ask your mum to teach you or pick up a book.

To help pants retain their puffiness, try using netting to make little mini-petticoats that go on each leg. I did this for my Sora costume.

That might work.....but my mom doesn't know hopw to sew XD. I can kinda sew since I sewed the ears all by myself XD. I shall make my own costume eventually lol XD.

Hm, I think you need a wig which isn't so thick. The best Inuasha cosplayers usually have thin long white wigs. I know Inuasha's hair looks thick and poofy in the anime-..But it's really just the character design. It's kind of a lazy way to draw hair-..but it does make it easier to animate. ..
If I didn't cut the long white Inuasha like wig I had, I would offer to sell it to you for a cheap price-...^_^;;; But I cut it to an Okkap..eheh..

I like the coloring to that first picture-....What type of camera where you using?

The baggy pants would really make the costume great. Otherwise, I really like the top, even if it has a zipper. I like the purple lacing on the sleeves. Way to go manga-style! =)

I agree with Vialoi Ketsueke, though. A thinner wig might suit the costume better, even if it doesn't look exactly like the way his character is designed. It's really super hard to pull off that hair and make it look good.

Good luck with it! ^^

Yeah, after watching Inuasha last night... I will keep with my observation-...Especially after seeing that Kagome's hair is basically the same width as Inuasha's. ..So, does that mean Kagome has poofy hair too? ..Lol, I don't think so.

..x.x It's actually really bad character design now that I look more at it....because all the characters from Inuasha have..well..thick poofy hair...(90% of them anyway.) ..tsk,tsk,tsk..
( sorry If I spelled Kagome wrong.)

I'll work on getting another wig ^__^. Just around the time we were making it we had to get a blonde short one cause that's the only one we could find ^____^. I'm very proud of my ears though lol XD. And I'lll try and work on baggier pants......the slits in the sleeves were annoying cause I had to pin part of it to my shirt so it would stay up ^__^;.
