View Full Version : Wanted: Help with making a Red Hood mask!

So for Comic-Con, one of my friends is dressing up as Jason Todd.

He put together the rest of his costume, but he doesn't know how to make a mask, so I volunteered for him, but I'm having trouble making one.

I tried to make one out of spandex but I'm not very skilled with stretchy fabrics. I would really like to make one that is more like a helmet than out of spandex. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I can't help you with that BUT I can help you with the mask he wears under it.

I'd say either use vacuum formed plastic or paper mâché with fiberglass, the former is cheaper and there's several links on the tutorial list
