It's getting warmer and hot here in southeast Kansas. I love summer; I can't stand to be cold.

It's getting warmer and warmer here in east TN as well, but not consistently yet. We'll have several mid 70's to 80's days and then BAM! a week of 30's and 40's again. I just can't wait for summer. Warm and hot weather, and lots of sunshine.

In the mountains of PA we're still more cold days than not, but I think we finally shouldn't have any more snow. We've hit 70 degrees (about 21 celcius) a few times, and 60 (15ish celcius) a few more, but I can't wait for real summer. Even in summer, we're high enough in latitude AND elevation that our nights (in the central/mountainy part of the state, at least) usually cool down pretty far, so the summers tend to be not unbearably hot.

Summer in the central valley of California...I try not to think about it. I've never been a fan of the spring or summers here. It's blazing hot and I'm allergic to everything that blooms or green. *Impatiently waits for winter again*

It's getting warmer here in Kentucky and I'm so happy it is. I hate the cold. Let's just keep summer forever. It's generally the best time of the year for me. My friends and I pretty much live for it.

Our weather is all over the place right now. It was 80 on Saturday but they're saying we might get snow this upcoming weekend. I hope not... I have prop work to do in the garage/driveway.

Summer is approaching here... 21 degrees here... already i can feel the humidity! I love spring and fall as the temperature is mild, which I enjoy.

Summer is too hot!

I don't like summer here. While I love them for giving my town so much money, the crazy FIPS come here when it starts getting warm. And they can't drive worth of crap, nor do they realize that IF YOU RELEASE YOUR DOG OFF OF IT'S LEASH, IT'S GOING TO RUN AWAY.
It was 79 here yesterday, I nearly died.

In the middle of Spain summer is very hot, dozens of degrees hotter than what I was used to in summer, but I LOVE it. Maybe I'm crazy. :P I absolutely hate cold so it's very welcome.

40 degrees celsius and black clothes don't match, though, which sucks. DX

I live in Canada and winter just about kills me every year, because I have zero tolerance to cold. So I looooooove when the weather warms up. Though once it hits August, by then it's a bit TOO hot and sticky. Temperature in the mid to high 20's, and the humidex in the mid-thirties and such or even higher. Especially when you don't have a/c at home.

Summer?!

But Spring just got here *whimpers*

Japanese summer is brutal. It can stay away as far as I'm concerned.

So I've heard. A friend of mine who was an exchange student from Japan spent late spring/early summer here a few years ago...and it was our hottest, stickest one on record, so bad that just sitting on a chair, in shorts or a skirt, there'd be a puddle of sweat on it in twenty minutes. My school uniform was unbearably hot as a short-sleeved blouse and a kilt when normally it was perfectly fine through the spring/end of the school year. It was so smoggy and humid I couldn't even breathe, and I DON'T have respiratory problems. I actually got quite sick from it, because it lasted throughout the summer and into the fall.

...and she says "I like it. It's not as hot and humid as in Tokyo." X_XU....

Summer is nice, the few months of warm/hot weather we get are so much less than all the cold/dreary times of Winter.

There's normally a few days (Max total of 14 days, never all once) where it's so hot it's hard to bear (Especially in my AC-less apartment).

I can handle the heat, but good god I hate humidity.

It's cool today but windy.

ShinobiXikyu

No AC here either. BUT, my bedroom window faces south where most of the winds come out of, so a fan system we set up in the house (one blowing through my room, one in the hallway, and one out/in the kitchen window; in the morning and later in the day it blows in to blow in coool air, during the day it blows air out) keeps the place fairly cool. But the heat is still certainly felt at least two weeks of the year. My cat died partially from it last year. X_X
I have to admit I don't really like Air conditioning. Then I get TOO cold. And I overdress when I go outside because it was so cold in the house. Plus I have no motivation to leave the place to go outside and find somewhere colder when it's kept so chilly.

((oh god, and don't get me started on humidity. My hairturns into a poodle frizzed mess when it's humid, on top of me already being miserable and sticky.)

I hate Houston in the summer.
It's ridiculously hot and ridiculously humid.
And I'm too pale to just run around baring my body everywhere, and I'm...modest? prudish in dress? I dunno. Either way, it's a horribly uncomfortable time of the year for me.

Yesterday it went up to 80 degrees. I had to borrow a pair of shorts from Boyfriend and a bunch of friends came around for outdoor grilling and bonfire-ness!

It was nice to be barefoot again.

And roll the windows down.
I actually made a video of Boyfriend and I in his car.
With the windows down.

That's how excited I am for summer.

Have you been to Jiuzhaigou (九寨沟)? I was there with some friends last summer and the temperature was very cool.

It is still pretty cool where i live. Yesterday it was 80 F. (20 C), but today it is back down to 50 F (10 C)

Today was actually pleasant for Washington DC, 86F and low humidity. Nice pleasant day and I even wore short sleeves for a bit. I hate hate winter it's just too cold and it's even worse when it snows. Spring means my allergies kick in and breathing and seeing become hard. Summer the temperature and humidity are in the high 90s. I love the heat and after the really cold crappy winter I'm hoping for a few 100+ days.

Spring in DC means you can go through all four seasons in a day. Tomorrow it's going to be in the 60s and sometimes it drops below freezing.

It's getting warmer. I live in MA so we get hot and humid by July, with August being the worst. I prefer spring. When it get too hot I just hide in my house with AC on, my friends an I are evening/night people anyway.

I don't mind hot and dry, I can't stand hot and damp.

The only time it should be hot and damp is well....in bed.

I was there last summer. It is pretty easy to get there from Chengdu. We took the bus, which was a little scary.

Las Vegas summers are pure Hell. I can't stand dealing with dry, hot, 115F+ temperatures and it pretty much kills my hair. I've lived here for several years and I'll never ever ever get used to it. I really miss NorCal summers...

I can handle the scorching summers here [101F!], but if there is any humidity whatsoever, I'm inside. I've lived in dry climates i.e. deserts most of my life.

I LOVE summer, it's my favorite season by far. It doesn't get insanely hot here in Finland, but we still have these nice, warm summers. Last summer was really nice, it was warmer than it usually is ^-^
And god I love thunder in the summer, it's my favorite weather, it just feels nice to sit inside hearing all the rain and the thunder. But sunny days are awesome too, when you can go to the beach and swim and all that stuff :'D

I live in Central Texas, so the summer's are the worst. A couple summers ago it was 100+ degrees pretty much everyday. That was the only year I was in marching band, and we practiced on a black top so it could easily get up to 120.

Snow is gone, but the weather ranges from 5 to 20 degrees these days. Lawn is getting pretty green now, but the longer grass at the quarry is still struggling to wake up.

Summer in the California Bay Area is generally nice, thankfully. It definitely get's hot here, but in comparison to other places around the world, summer's here are pretty mild. I think I still prefer winter time, though. I'm not much of a summer person. ._.;

It's been raining for about 4 days straight here. The sun came out yesterday, so the lawn is very green and growing rampant, but today we're back to 40 Fahrenheit and rainy.

/sigh

Summer here is usually humid but not overwhelmingly hot. The Midwest has worse winters than summers, that's for sure. Though we're supposed to be in for a heck of a tornado season this spring/summer. Something about La Nina effects...St. Louis' airport just got hit by a twister this weekend.

We haven't even had spring yet here, much less summer.

I mean, the grass is green, buds are forming, there are flowers, sure...but it's the same 50 degrees and raining it's been since October. *has webbed feet*

Wait Mango, we got a bit of snow earlier this year! And it got up to 60 degrees on Saturday... That was nice and warm.
