Ok gaiz!!
as title suggests: im cosplaying (crossplaying to be exact) Ghirahim from Skyward Sword.
My plan so far is to use two bodysuits: one for the skin colour, the other for the white bodysuit he wears.

The cape is what i really need the help with. just.... WTF do i do??? XD i'm a cosplay n00b, so i have no ideas for this part.

Also, whats a good method to make the jewel around his waist? I mean the actual jewel, not the sash =3

I'm basically looking for any ideas that would help me out a bit. :)
Any help greatly appriciated

I have no idea as to what you could do about the cape but expandable foam is a good idea for the big ass diamond around Debbie's waist.

Probably a foam frame, and then see if you can find come kind of plastic "diamond" for the actual jewel, or possibly mold some clear resin and color it.

I'd use resin for the gem, personally. And for the cape, I'd sew the lining of it in a quilting style (as in actually cutting and sewing the pieces together). That's the only way besides painting it that would work (and it would look nicer than painting it, too).
