Hey guys. I'm currently working on a Gundam costume (check my profile for pics) and I'm having a little trouble. I scaled the head and it fits perfectly. But when I measured the legs and arms of my Gundam model and scaled them up based on the size of the head I made, I found out that they would be waaaay too long for me. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem or how I can add 2 feet to my height and 1 foot to my arms?

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

The problem is that humans aren't shaped like gundams. The only thing you can really do, aside from wearing stilts and having arm extensions (which would probably look a little silly, as your thighs and upper arms would be disproportionately short), is to scale the head and the body separately.

Unfortunately, a Gundam is proportioned differently than an actual human body. However, keep in mind that it only has to LOOK proportional. As long as the final product looks proportional, it won't matter if it's not an exact copy of the suit's proportions.

If you decide to lengthen the arms and legs, just keep in mind that this could limit your mobility.

The head looks really nice, btw... :)
