Hello,

We are proud to announce a new convention in the california area, modesto, california to be exact. We're currently looking for staff members. If you have had any experience either as being staff at a convention or having had volunteered at a previous convention please contact miaka@jurai.org and please include your name, location, and please include the conventions you have worked at. We are currently planning on having staff meetings every other saturday so if you live in the area or can travel to the area to make meetings please feel free and help out. We have openings in pretty much every department. Apply now to ensure getting in the department you are looking to be in. We also need volunteers. You dont need experience to be a volunteer. We are looking for anyone who is dependable and willing to bring fun to our staff.

For those who are interested in just attending the convetion, we will soon be taking pre-registrations for the event. We are looking to hold the convention in November of 2003. If we get enough pre-registrations and interest we will definately hold it in November 2003. We are currently having a mascot design contest. Those who are interested may draw and design a mascot for our convention. You may either design it digitally or with pen and paper. All entries will have their design posted online and there will be voting where anyone online can vote for their favorite mascot. The winner will get a free weekend pass for the first year convention.
