Ok, this one I need you're help on.

I'm trying to make an X-mas list and I just figured out that the DVD series I have seen is what I've finished or have the entire sets. What I'm asking is that do you guys have any recommendations on any good Anime movies for DVD? I've already seen Trigun, Weib Kraus, Ayashi no Ceres, parts of Vampire Princess Miyu, Record of Lodoss, Magic Knight Rayearth, Evangelion, Mononoke... you know, the most common Anime titles. I'm looking for something that's kind of new or really good. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Kare Kano, Arjuna, Fruits Basket...

Kare Kano!! :D
If you like catgirls, Hyper Police is pretty good (although not really in the "new" category...it's newly released in the US)
Video Girl Ai
Ranma 1/2 (though that's really long and not really new either)

I second Arjuna, it's amazing!

Haunted Junction!!!!! It's not new but, man, its so funny. It's at a great deal of $32 for 12 episodes on a 2 disc DVD boxset.

I suggest Roujin Z by Katsuhiro Otomo. Great movie, underated too.

801 TTS Airbats. It's a fun 7 episode series about a air squadron in Japan. The ramen noodle eating contest and the USA vs. Japan episodes are 2 great things about the series.

Petshop of Horrors! Very underated, but a great horror series nonetheless, if you want a good break from the typical anime fare, this has to be one of the top candidates.

Eeeeto. Love Hina and AMG are my personal faves. I would suggest Tenchi Muyo: In Love but that's pretty main stream. There's I, My, Me Strawberry egg's that's pretty good. I think Pioneer is doing that one, is it out yet? FLCL. Oh wait, someone suggested that already. Let me rummage through my collection again... *rustle**rustle* Uhmm, try MS 08th Gundam. It's actually better than a lot of the other series. More like a story of the Vietnam war, but with Gundams!!! Oh yeah, the love story is pretty cool too. Full Metal Panic (I wasn't expecting the mechs in this one. Although I really should have...), if that's out yet. That's about it, I think.
