Deedlit's forest green tunic/dress (Without the armor, shoes, armlets, cape, sword, etc.) cost me 200 dollars. :P

Her swords going to cost me about 200 dollars too but I guess it doesn't matter since I want to look my best. People might laugh at me being a guy but they will freak out when they see the quality of Deedlit's costume.

Well that is not as bad as the costs I have spent on a Zam Wesell costume. The body suit made of Neopreane is running about $400 on its own. That does not count a limited run $600 helmet and all the leather items for the costume. I am looking at close to $3000 in the costume when done.

You know when you've gone overboard with a costume when one of the masquerade judges comes upto you and says "You are one of the most accurate Naga's I've ever seen... and that's scary seeing you're a guy!"

I bought 3 metres of pure wool for an Auron costume for A$70, for a costume that I may never finish, just because it was the 'perfect colour'.

You know you've crossplayed too much when the majority of your costumes are male characters..

You know you've cosplayed too much when you can't go 3 months without cosplaying or going to a con. *twitches*It's been since March since I've been to a con.

The most expensive costume I put together was $250 for just the material of the suit alone! Not the rest of the costume! The real pisser... my x-girlfriend lost the costume, LOST IT before it had EVER been worn.
