Okay, I did this costume as Soma originally but I changed QUITE a few things. I liked the design on the outside that he has in blue but I did not have time to add that to my coat. The fluff STILL has not been added, it wont be permenate though it will only be pin on becuz I like just wearing the coat around and its kind of odd to go around with bunch of fluff around my neck BUT IT WILL GET THERE SOON! Also, I hate his pants, I hate his shoes, and his shirt is just a plain old black turtleneck so I had to go somewhere else there. I wore just black jeans, a black shirt with a white tie, and regular boots.

My attack staff:I made it a staff instead of a whip because Soma only gets 1 whip as far as I can remember but he gets lots of swords and such and I thought an Attack Staff would be better, but I have now Upgraded to my clear one which can also be viewed in my PHOTO GALLERY.

So then with the Red liner and all that I decided well maybe I can get away with calling it a "Dracula" Soma concept. But now I want to do away with the black pants and Black shirt and wear white with a black belt with a dragon buckle. I am probably going to make some cool black design to go on the pants too. I think it looks really kool in all white with the black accented only on the boots and belt and then the Red Sunglasses and clear staff but everyone automatically thinks THE TWINS!!!!

Should I still Classify this as a Soma costume if I have changed EVERYTHING that makes his costume his? I think I should but I dont want to because its all about the character.

So tell me first what you think of the costume design (SEE PHOTO GALLERY) then tell me what you think about my dilemma.

I what you have done so far, but if you had a reference picture, it would be much easier to help you :) (p.s.... Those gingerbread men? They're hot...)

Reference picture for the original design (http://www.rpgamer.com/games/castlevania/ariasorrow/art/ariasorrow002.jpg); for those of you not familiar, think if Sohma Hatsuharu from Fruits Basket went vintage shopping for clothes.

My opinion visually to your design was that the white outer layer of the trench is overwhelmed by the red lining (the red looks great but makes the white unimpressive in comparison), but as you said the trim and the fur haven't been added so these could help. Personal preference, I suppose... if likened to a powerful vampire hidden inside a mere human than it becomes rather fitting.

It is a nice original outfit, but the current product is more similar to Alucard from Hellsing than Soma from Castlevania: AoS - changing everything makes it no longer the same character (I turned on my GBA to check if he even uses staves/rods at all during the game). Also, Soma already has a Dracula alternate outfit.
