Next year for a group I'm making Izayoi, Inuyasha's mother.

If you don't remember what she looks like: http://www.jakenmester.eoldal.hu/img/picture/84/_07.jpg

I have a pattern for the kimono, though I may need to greatly alter it for the 5 over-sized kimonos... but I'm wondering, where can I find a hakama pattern?

Just google "hakama pattern" and you will get some results. Folkwear has a hakama pattern (http://www.folkwear.com/151.html) too.

Here (http://fibers.destinyslobster.com/Japanese/Clothes/japmakewomenshakama.htm) is your hakama. Here (http://fibers.destinyslobster.com/Japanese/Clothes/japmakekimono.htm) is everything else.

If you're not comfortable using that method, there are also (http://store.reconstructinghistory.com/rh409-heian-japanese-ladys-underthings.html) patterns (http://store.reconstructinghistory.com/rh410-heian-japanese-ladys-informal-robes.html).

A lot of the clothes in Inuyasha look very Heian-era, which is not TOTALLY accurate (I figured the "past" date was somewhere around 1500), but Heian-era clothes are gorgeous so it's forgivable.
