Hi everyone!!! I haven't posted lately, but I'm back again!!! (had to get a new computer :) )

I'd like to show you guys Mexican crossplayers and ask your opinion. Crossplay is not very accepted (especially here in my city, Guadalajara) in Mexico, but I know things are different here.

Hola hermana...

I know things are a lot tougher there... and I don't see a magic trick to fix it. You just try to find the equilibrium between your needs to express yourself on one side, and the rest of your social life (and personal safety) on the other.

Your costumes look very nice and detailed. It's clear you have put lots of work on them. Hope you one day have the chance to fly up north and parade them for us.

Hang in there...

Un abrazo
Dani

Oh: I just noticed Pinku_nu_usagi and Bunnyfriend are two different people. My message was intended for the crossplayer (bunnyfriend).....

Hi there Dani!!! My friend just told me that he's very grateful for your comments on his crossplay! By the way, do you have a website where you display your costumes??? ;)

All I have so far is in my gallery on this site. If your friend has access to the internet, tell him he can contact me in either english or spanish using any of the ways listed in my profile.

Un abrazo

¡Hola! Hello to everyone!

Indeed, I'm THE Bunnyfriend, that guy that you've seen in this post crossplaying Sakura. First I want to say: thanks for all your coments, Dani. I knew about this forum months ago, but until now I got registered in it. My costumes are not so well made as they look in the pictures, but really who cares? For me, they're awesome cute!

About the crossplay activity in Guadalajara, México: Pinku is telling the truth. Crossplayers are not accepted in this place and in fact, I got injured (most in my spirit) in a cosplay contest with some PET bottles and another unidentified things. I think this city isn't ready for crossplay right now: lots of people thinks that I'm gay (and obviously, think same of another couple of cross dressers in my hometown) and that's not true. I'm like any other guy, but if I had the guts for making such a thing, was merely for admiration and love to some of my favorite anime characters (specially the little Sakura).

Well... All I have to say is: thanks a lot Dani. Muchas gracias por tus comentarios.

P.S. Please, sorry for my not-so-good English.

I used to go to Guadalajara a lot when my brother stuidied there, we went to a small convention once but I don't remember the name nor where was it held o.O;
Currently I live in Tamaulipas though (that's like eight hours away) and I plan to do a lot of crossplay at A-kon this year :D
