Hey guys this is my first post and such. I'm working on my first real costume. So I decided on something A I love (resident Evil) B is somewhat easy C always wanted to do. So I decided on the black Umbrella corp costume. I'll be wearing it this year to dragoncon 12 (also my first time at dragoncon yay). I want something that breaths and like (I've stood watch in BDUs before and ended up drentched in sweat after just 3 hours so I know what Georgia heat can do.)

Costume ideas so far:
Its either this or a normal long shirt top. I'm kind leaning towards the normal long shelve shirt due to price and its easier to put patches on.
I'm looking at this vest since its the design I want (ie a normal vest, has the gun holster on the front - solving the problem of a leg strap which I hate having to fiddle with on watch) and it has a pouch on it thats perfect for an umbrella logo patch).
Guns: MP5 and gerenic 9mm
I originally saw this gun and loved it, but the fanboy in me saw these models for the 9mm

As for a hat I won't bother with the gaskmask/helmet might get a 8 point cover and slap an umbrella logo on it at the most, I have boots that I can just blouse the straps of the pants over, get some fingerless gloves and maybe a set of knee and elbow pads.

Any suggestions or am I set with the current load out.

You'll need Knee Pads and Elbow pads like these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SWAT-KNEE-PADS-ELBOW-PADS-NON-SLIP-SURFACE-DURABLE-MILITARY-PAD-/221131808420?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item337c7b9ea4

Boots: Any military/work boot

Gas Mask (if you're planning on it): Anything cheap would be a paintball dummy gas mask.

Helmet: SWAT helmet, usually 20-30$, but you can find some for 10$.

Patches: REALLY IMPORTANT, to sow on that vest and the BDU.
