the link above is my costume for freya. I know I still need a few more things to do to it but not sure what. Also I didn't work on my wig and put the spindles in because I have to get me wig brush back from a friend of mine.

Really what I need to know is how this is coming along and if anyone has any ideas on what I need to add..

Sorry for the bad qualitiy they are..>_< I was using a webcame so its not the greatest in the world but it will work for now.

Hmm... more lace and trim on the dress, maybe. Otherwise it seems to be coming along pretty well. I'm not sure about the red ribbon... something lacier or fluffier would have been more appropriate and the length kinda bugs me. But you're off to a good start.

Erika here.

I don't know which dress of Freya's you're doing so it's impossible to offer a critique. Do you have a reference shot for the rest of us?

I'm doing an original design of my own. The ribbion isn't really that read it's more off a off mauve or so... I'm just trying to do a design that would be probable for Freya

I think it's very pretty. It could probably use a little more decoration on dress, maybe some more ribbon? I also did an original design for freya, though I don't have the wig (which I'm about to steal from you , I like it A LOT^-^). I really like the huge bow, a lot of the dresses that Chi and Freya wear are very extravagent, and have huge aspects on them, much like the bow. You could also add something like a train to the costume, if you really wanted to get into it.
I love it, that dress is very very pretty, hope to see it when you get it to your liking! ^-^

Aww ty ty ty I got the wig from Amphogry.com in lilly it's the enchantment. 44inches long...pain to brush but I love it. I'm trying to figure out how to put a train on it...i had thought about putting another long black bow made out of fabric in the back..but moust of it would be covered by the hair so i wasn't sure.

I really like your costume alot! It's very pretty! I was also looking at Amphigory for a Chii wig. =) The only suggestion I would have would be to add bangs into the wig, but I understand if you're iffy about it, because they are kinda expensive. =)

You don't really need a wig brush, usually using a nice Goody wide toothed comb works really well. I found that brushes tend to be too rough. ><

Oh a black train with red ribboning on the edges would look so pretty!! *day dreams* It depends if you don't mind sewing something to the dress. If you don't, then I'd advise making a nice train and just sewing onto the back of the dress, black on black won't look bad at all, and the hair will cover up any boo-boos.
If you don't want to sew anything on to it, a nice big bow would be very pretty. Again, I'd suggest adding some more red onto the costume, possibly on the edges of the bow. yeah the hair will cover it, but if you make it huge and I mean HUGE, you should be able to at least see the edges of it, which would still look very nice.
Oy I just went off on a tangeant, see what pretty dresses do to me? o.O

It's looking awful perty -nyo! And the dress is quite appropiate as is~ if you can't add to the dress, and you still want to add to the costume, can you at least sew onto the petticoat? {as a little sugestion, might be time consuming though} I'm not sure how this would look, but maybe sewing red ruffly/lace to the bottom of the petticoat might add to it some, but even as is, it's looking cute ^-^ And also about the bangs, I agree that it'd probably look better, but I'd be nervous about cutting such an expencive wig~... ^^; and I also like the big bow ideas... ^-^ I look forward to seeing the finished product at Colossal con!! ^-^

I like the idea of the train, I would suggest making a removable one that pins to the back of the dress. Removable trains are so nice ^_^
