View Full Version : in progress Paine White Mage

it's only inprogress, I need to fix the other sleeve (which is why it's behind my back) add the flames and take in the costume a little so it actually has a skirt.

All of the circles are added my hand as well as the stuff on the back. Tell me what you think.

Nice work on the details, everything looks very clean and well put together. I look forward to seeing the completed costume ^_^

the whole thing is made of fleece, and all of detailing is wool felt (wool felt = god sent)

I don't like the cut, so I'm taking it in a little on both sides to make it more fitted I also need to add the pants part.

As you see if now, I've sent 40-50 hours on it. All the detail took the longest

Sweet. I'm a guy and it looks comphy enough to where I would wear it daily. Are you going to Anime Detour. I'd like to see that there.

Keep up the great work!

It looks really good, and very comfortable! The detailing is really nice too. My only suggestion is that on the bottom where the two red parts meet, it's sopposed to be an unbroken curve.

Bobbi, yeah, I haven't gotten that far in it. it will be when it's finished.

It looks so plush and cartoony! I like it! You look like a game character!

It looks really good so far. I wish I could sew fleece like that. Fleece hates me! ^_^ Oh, well! Really, really good job tho! You look like the perfect person to cosplay Paine. You have the hair and everything. I can't wait to see the finished product! ^_^

looks cool :D
i suggest that you make it more fitting on the sides, since paine's is form fitting.
other than that it's impressive :D

Very nice indeed! I would have used a fabric that drapes a little better but overall I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. Do you plan to add any beading or extra trims to it? (like around the circles and what not) Ihat would add a richness to the costume.
