Really wanting to cosplay Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls in August and was wanting an accurate wig of hers. I'm pretty confident in my wig styling abilities since I'm sort of kind of a perfectionist. All I need to know is what's the best way to achieve her shaped pigtails? I know that it would be more realistic to get regular hair clips to attach to a base wig, but I'm going for the look depicted in the Cartoon Show. If anybody has any ideas or advice I would greatly appreciate your time and words! Thank you all so much :bigtu:

For the original one i would make a foam base and cover it in hair similar to this tutorial.

The one from Japan has a drill shaped curls that need to be reinforced.

For a base wig this and a pack of matching wefts.

Would that tutorial also work with a large poofy wig I'm also thinking about doing later in the year? Something like this: http://tinypic.com/r/jsye6h/5
