So I don't have alot of experience with styling wigs, but I want to put together a decent Barbarella costume for DragonCon this year. I'm not really sure where to begin searching for the right kind of late 60s Jane Fonda hair. I was thinking of just getting a generic curly blonde wig and styling it myself, but does anyone have suggestions for how I could effectively style it? Or could you point me to some good tutorials...

I'd say take a curly blond wig, then tease and spray until it looks right. Nothing too intense.

Thanks for the advice! I got a blonde wig that I think will work wonderfully. I saw an interesting drag-wig tutorial on using gel curls. Would I need to curl the bangs and hair at all or do you think teasing would be enough?

For waves that size, I'd recommend extra large Velcro rollers. You can roll the hair, heat with a blow dryer, let cool, unwind. Then spray and tease the roots, and see how the waves look. Brush them with your fingers into place and spray for hold.

Thank you, that's very helpful!
