referance and in my siggy

I'm gunna add a the little white square patch he has on his shorts, and spray paint a baseball bat red, and either get a chinese to go box, cover it in make up and tape that to my head or get some bandages, and possibley change the string to a yellow one.

Can you post a reference picture?

As such, I can't critique it... I don't even know what it's from.

However, be warned - I don't think many people will be aware that you are costuming. Looks like normal clothing (that's the problem with some of those series, eh?).

Hm, well it does look alot like street cloethes but, I think FLCL is pretty well known. Although, isn`t the hoodie ma-thing supposed to be blue? *blink* Because I believe people would really recognize you much more if you got that blue. ^.^

The hoodie does look to be more blue. You could always buy a white one and try to dye it that color with fabric dyes.

As for the shoes, you could try thrift stores until you find a dark pair that fits, and then paint on the yellow stripe. Don't forget the blue socks, either. Noticed you weren't wearing any.

I also think your hat should be a bit farther forwards - his looks like its barely on his front hairline. However, they do draw things however they like, and it might not be able to recreate exactly on your head (since, last time I looked, you were 3D, not 2. ;)). It could also be because your hair is longer - but that's a personal choice.

I think you should cut your hoodie strings shorter, and add those little tabby things on the bottom. You can buy them in bigger sewing stores, I've seen them there. Just tie the ends of the lanyard, or apply tape or something so it doesn't fray.

Are you going to do the backpack?

With 'plain clothes' costumes, I think it's the little details that make it.

Good luck!

Put a big patch of gauze and medical tape on your forehead!!! Keep down that horn!!

Also, you may want to make the strings yellow and put little claspy ends on them.

Gauze and tape!
Looks good otherwise! :D

Could always walk around with a Haruko or (if sumone actually went through with it) a Canti, then ppl would know who you were for sure.
