View Full Version : How does my Auron look???

Alright, it seems that i finally finished my Auron costume. I had to revamp some stuff since Katsucon, and I wore it to ama to get some pics of it. The sword was made by Monoyasha, and the pics were taken by Yukitoleonheart. Thanks to both of them. So tell me what you think.
And heres just a pic of me getting mobbed by little kids...

aww the kids like you.
Great pictures, fantastic costume. The detail on the sword is impressive. You also got the color spot on, which is very impressive, most people don't get it so correct. The details are very well done as well. Great work, all aspects of the costume seem equally strong.

Thats amazing! The sword is like perfect! While I`m far from a FFX expert, I can still tell you that costume is very, very well done! The detail is all done very well! Great Job!!!!

Wow, you did a great job on your Auron costume! It is very detailed and you can tell an awful lot of time was put into it. The only two (very small) suggestions I can think of are maybe you could consider putting some grey in your hair and also, maybe it's just the pictures, but it looks like the black armor on your chest is made out of a thinner material than it should be (because you can see crinklies). Those are the only two things I could see that might be off a little and they're very nitpicky and it could just be me that's off a little. Anywho, awesome job - you do Auron justice! ;)

LOL, I forgot the spray when we went to ama so I didn;t have anything on hand to make my hair grey. I will probably try to make thicker armor for neko so i wont overheat in it.
Awesome!I love it!It's alot more detailed than most Auron cosumes. And your sword is gorgeous!

WOW. Just...wow. Wonderful job. I helping make an Auron costume for a friend of mine. How did you do your sword?

the jacket is my favorite part! Its so vibrant. <3
I like the collar a lot. Can you see?? lol.
Its a very very nice and accurate Auron! I love it! <3

I think the collar looks too big for you? But other than that I think its pretty good :P

Very nice Auron. I would have to agree with the collar though. It does seem a bit large for you. Other than that, everything else is like dead on. And the detail on the sword is excellent. Is that gold design raised? How did you do that?
What did you use to make the jug? I was struggling with that a bit. I hope to get mine finished. XD

Your Auron costume is flawless!!! Omg, it's so awesome! I'm actually starting an Auron costume...so far I have his boots lol, and they're not even finished (haven't attatched metal strips, etc.) But would you mind telling me what material you used for Auron's coat? I've been trying to figure that out...
Thanks a lot!

It's such an awesome costume. I like how you got the collar to stay stiff...a lot of Auron's have droopy collars and it doesn't look good at all.

That has to be one of the best Auron costumes I've seen. I really do not seem to find anything that is wrong with the costume. But if you really want to take it even further you could try to create that scar to your face with make-up that Auron has...unless my eyes are failing me and you already have made it. :bashful:
Other than that, wonderful job. ^_^
