I have a question to throw out there...

Does anyone know what's up with the Cosplay rules this year?

"Entries will be separated into one of three categories: youth, novice, or journeyman.

Youth - Contestants 13 years of age and under
Novice - Contestants that have never won a costume or cosplay award at any convention
Journeyman - Contestants that have won at least one costume or cosplay award at any convention "

Ummm... where's masters? I know we just discussed this earlier when Yaya brought the judging systems up, but... WTF? You win ONE award and have to compete against people who have won like TWELVE? I feel sorry for all the newbies out there >.<

I might not compete at all this year, seeing as though I have no group to be with so... yah. Anyways, I just thought that was really strange.

That's weird. I'm certainly not going to enter if that's the case... oO;

that does sound... off.
I am just planning on doing the walk-on/masquerade deals... no skits for me. ^^

it should be like, 4 or 5 awards before going up the next level. icky.

i wish they would just come up with a universal judging system...

Face it... Every con has a judging system that screwed. No matter how you tweak it, somehow it will get worse.

Thems the breaks, it dosn't matter HOW many awards you won, it matters who's skit rocks out the hardest.
