Place - Busse Forest Grove point 16 on map (http://www.fpdcc.com/content/recfac_nw_fs.html)
Date - October 9th 2:00 - ???

This event will consist of a picnic/tea party type thing, a photo shoot, talk about the EGL fashion, and J-rock of course ^_^ Anyone interested in EGL, J-rock, or just wants to come to see the pretty costumes is welcome. I'll be making some yummy EGL inspired treats and supplying the tea but please bring something to share.

Hey thanks. The forest perserve I was talking about is called the New Brown perserve map (http://www.fpdcc.com/content/recfac_nw_fs.html)

Gothic Lolita costumes can be made easily from stuff you find at resale shops or you can do it the lazy way and go to Hot Topic they've had some really cool gothic lolitaish stuff in the last few months.

Its ok to be stuck on Malice Mizer I am to.

You don't know of anyone else how would be interested do you?

Weeee! I would like to come! Matsuwa I love that place. Picnics are fun! I wanna come Kurunekonero *might* be interested. and maybe Shinji Tokugawa (read the Q&A section in his Profile stuffs) maybe I could get them both to dress EGL, Shinji has done that before, but for him maybe just Kodona....This will be fun if there is one. Post something in the Jrock/Jpop section. You'll get people's attention ^____^

Oh, the pain - I just found this thread. x.x I just came from Japan to visit my sister in Chicago for a few weeks and I have several of my costumes with me - I went shopping a LOT over the past two years. My brithday was Oct 3 - that would have rocked. But I leave on Friday the 8th to visit my parents in Florida before returning to Tokyo. How cruel! I've been wanting hook up with some American Lolitas. Ah well.

Hey that's a really pretty area! I watched fireworks on a hill in that reserve, it was just BLANKETED with gorgeous little purple flowers. I don't think it's gonna be quite that way this late in the year, but it's still a nice view. Is there an alternate location in case of rain or sudden Chicago winter? (I can't believe it's so COLD already!)
