Has anyone ever tried to go to a convention and meet with friends you haven't seen in along time, but also going with your new friends and have to remember that they don't act the same as the others. So you have to concentrate on who like or doesn't like what? I know this might be confusing and I'm not explaining myself all the way but I hope someone can tell me what I should do.:bouncer:

don't. mixing old and new friends is a bad idea, too much tension. but if you do, play a board game or somethingthat everyone can do and stay on topics not like school etc where one party wil dominate.

budget thy time.... ^^
try to have a good time with both without having to mix them together too much. though if the mix is necessary i've noticed going to dinner is usually a decent way to have people mingle for the first time.
but if you feel the two groups would be COMPLETELY inapropriate for eachother then follow rayechu's idea and avoid it like the plague.

dinner is good idea but make sure you stay off topics that onl one group knows about. Like if my anime friends and school friends are together somehow we end up talking about bush's resemblance to a monkey or playing video games or recent movies (non-anime) that have been released. keep neutral topics.
