I know how you feel. (this is my BF's Cosplay.com name) I have four costumes partially finished. Two for me, and two for my boyfriend. AAAAH! Also, a friend wants me to make an undergarment for his yukata. AAAAH! And I have to style wigs! AAAAH!

I swear I have everything plus my first born due the week before Halloween. It's really starting to get to me. I'm determined to finish my costumes before then.

Yikes..you're going to a con a week after you have a baby?? Is that ok?

As for me..things are getting crazy money-wise...I want a halloween costume on top of a costume for AUSA..plus a new digi-cam and card..guh..I'm just gonna have to make Oruha's mic another time. siiigh

I have the same problem, Riji (well, I'm not pregnant, but I have a *ton* of costumes due then). There's a FMA Edward wig, full Miroku and an extra glove from IY, and a sailor moon superS I have yet to complete. And I haven't even begun work on the Miroku yet. Plus, there is a con in a week I must go to. 0.o;;
Cosplay can get hectic sometimes.

It's not too bad this time. The last time I was in a jam I only had a week (give or take a couple days) to do almost my entire Kakashi costume. I wanted to revise him for AUSA and Nekocon, but decided to throw back and relax with just the one new costume. Granted that I will go into doing numerous ones next year...

As of the time I write this reply we have exactly 22 days to have stuff either up and ready or ready to just slap together and run. You'd be surprised what you can accomplish in a week when you put your heart into something.

Good luck to all of you and if you have luck left over from that shower I just sprinkled then you can keep it in a bucket and return it to me at the con.

Peace, love, and sexy no jutsu! See ya there!

Err...it was a figure of speech. Y'know like in Rumplestiltskin where the girl promises him her first born in exchange for him to turn the straw into gold. It just means that I have an incredible amount of things being demanded of me this month.

Heh, I'm too young to have a baby.

Sorry for the confusion.

*sighs* I haven't even gotten to start my Sakura costume i only got the fabric last weekend. *growls at parents for taking so long to get her to the fabric store* Only i have gotten done is my hair. I'm doing a wig because i really really don't want to spray my hair Pink and be hard as a rock. ^_^". So need to work on the shoes and my wepons. OI! so much to do in so little time. Also i might have to make my boyfriend a monkey tail because he doesn't have time to do his Naruto or Haru costume so he want to go as my slave monkey. -_- it werid i know but what can i do.

It's a sign that I shouldn't make references to things. No one ever understands what I mean. :crylaugh:

Hey, Wakusei, did you know we live close to each other?

I'm handsewing a Krad costume-- and styling a wig-- and making the shoes-- and buying the tights-- and ordering the leggings-- and I've never really cosplayed before! AUGH! I need it done the DAY BEFORE THE con SO I CAN WEAR IT TO SCHOOL! >< I'm only... Say 55% done with the actual sewing! I might have to NOT DO WINGS! -runs around like a chicken with it's head cut off- Gotta work gotta work gotta work!

I just need to find the jacket. The annoying thing is that I used to have a jacket just like Kiba's.

this month is going by so fast for me but im not feeling any pressure or anything. since most of my costumes are basicly done except for a few finishing touches i dont have to worry about them not being done on time. im more worried about getting nice pictures of me in them before the con. ha and like friefly i to am trying to get a new digicam. le sigh.

gosh you all think you have it bad!! I have 5 costumes and some props to do!! 2 for me and 3 commision projects >_<. And it really doesn't help that 2 of the costumes happen to be 2 of the most difficult costumes around...Robin for my friend Lanai, and one of Chi's many costumes (which are all pretty difficult). I also hafta do Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb costumes for the twins Brian and Jasmine...and the last one is female wolfwood which is the easiest cuz I can just go to the goodwill or somethin...heh, thrifty rules ^____^

I also hafta make not 1 cross punisher...BUT 2!!! one for me and one for my boyfriend cosplayin as Wolfwood...a mini confessional, Robin's necklace, a set of persocom ears and "Chi" hair spools...I have material and what-not but I've only started the Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum costumes which are the easiest...and to top it all off, I have 2 major projects due in school...HONORS CLASSES SUCK BAD!! I'm sculpting freaking Chi spools as I type -_-;; I need my friends to actually HELP me rather than just pile commisions on my head...but yea...I can deffinately see all nighters for the rest of my weekends until AUSA.

Sometimes it helps to break down your costume into smaller bits and work on it for an hour or so everyday.

Personally, I do my best work at the last minute. All I have left is to start on the hakama for my Sai costume, finish the details on Kenshin, and some imporvements on Chloe and I'm ready.

I'm actually not doing too bad now. I got the sailor scout almost completely done, and I just have the sleeves and the gloves to worry about now. Go me! But The Inuyasha commissions are looking like they're gonna have trouble. She gave us the wrong measurement like twice so we couldn't finish the IY Overkimono yesterday. Augh. So we still have half of the overkimono, that underkimono, and all of Miroku, and I have to fix my catgirl costume's collar for next weekend's con. 0.o;;;

I have the tweedle dee and tweedle dum costumes done!!! I also went to the thrift shop and low and behold there was the most awesome Wolfwood girl mini black buisness skirt and tailored jacket! Just gotta add the crosses. Halfway done the Robin costume and I've finished my chi ears. both cross punishers, and Robin's necklace! I think I've made head-way!! Also, my friend and I made these cute Chi-ears (I have Chi) / Inuyasha ears (She has Inu) headphones that fit snuggly on your head and they look cute while you're listening to music! They really look great! I'll post pix soon as I get a hold of a digital camera. Well yea...just wanted to let you all know my status! 5 COSTUMES AND A WHOLE LOTTA PROPS CAN BE DONE IN 3 WEEKS!! ::holds up "V" sign::

You can wear Komugi when you sing.....she sings. ^^; I'm almost done Koyori, all I need is the corset thingy, the bow, a wig, the thigh high + garter type thing, and shoes, plus some detailing on the sleeves. *was the Kagome with track sneakers, Otakon 03* and my kitty ears and tail, I always seem to forget about those...... and I made my bear PJs for the Gaia gathering, I actually used a store bought pattern for a hoodie and made it. =O

MAN, I never knew making Quina could be so hard... and that's just the foam mask! I have the pantaloons, the "dress" and such, I need a better red jacket though, plus I gotta mod the chef's hat...

Anyone got any advice for how to attach an elastic band to a foam mask inconspicuously without it messing up the face part? :lost:
