I suspect that they only have Goofy and Donald because they own the rights to those characters. I believe that Square Enix owns Sora, etc. and Disney owns the characters they've always owned. There were some weird collaborations involved in that game, so rights are sketchy on some stuff I guess.

One note on wearing them to Disney - careful. There was a topic on this earlier in the General forums, on cosplaying at Disneyland, and it can get pretty nasty. The staff hate people who dress up, lol, and will eithe rnot let you in or kick you out 0_o;;

But YAY! Disney's making a stab at getting good attention with awesome costumes =)

I went to the Disney Store yesterday... asked about Kingdom Hearts. They said, surprise surprise, that Kingdom Hearts merchandise was awaiting approval to be sold in Disney Stores. WHOO! They mentions t-shirts, stuffies, figurines... its great =D

Sora's KH2 outfit isn't very menacing or anything like that so I don't know why it would be a problem....
However, I would really love to bring the Kingdom Key in the park (to help people better recognize me) but I'm guessing that'll be a problem.

And I'd be wearing it to Disney World, not Land >0

Yeah, but its a general Disney thing =\ I hate it. They don't let anyone who looks like they may be wearing a costume in. They wouldn't let some girl in a Lolita outfit in 0_o;; They apparently allow costumes into the Japan one, because its not really operated by Disney, but they do at the other branches. Either way... best of luck to you getting in! =)

That's wonderful news! It always made me sad that Disney didn't carry any merchendise of their... Cousin, so to say, instead leaving places like Suncoast, gaming stores, and Hot Topic to carry it all.

A not for those upset about the no adults in costumes in the parks policy, this is so that other guests do not become confused and think you are a park employee. If they did, then Disney would be risking their reputation to you, someone who is not employed or affiliated with Disney. It's not that they hate you. It's that you can upset and confuse their guests.

pushta XBOX. but... OMFGH OH MY YEVON THAT IS HIFREAKINGLARIOUS! i totally want to go to disneyworld now! ^^ we all have proof that Yuna will infact be in KH2 so naturaly whatever costume she wears in it will be made by myself. so when i achive this costume you bet im gonna wear it to disney world! me and 2 other female friends are thinking of doing a sora donnald goofey crosplay with myself as sora. i would have so much fun attacking one of those mascots with a keyblade ^^! im sory i don't have pictures but if they can make kim possible and ron then they can make a sora. and it would be good to see what the officiol costume looks like ^^ -Aseret Yuna

Ah well, it was an neat idea. *shrug*
I know that around Halloween time, Disney allowed costumed guests into the park, but I can't remember if there was an age limit to it or not...
Not even sure if they do that anymore.

I just found pics of sora and the small kingdom hearts area, Iam disappointed by the fact that they made sora A "masked" character when they could of easily made a non masked person of him.

sora:

Hahahaha. That mask is hilarious! I guess they made it that way because his hair's a little hard to handle.

Whee! Go Kingdom Hearts area at Disney World! I hope it's there when I go to Disney World next summer!

meh. it looks cute and i love the people who do some of the costumes at disney! at least he doesnt look like gepetto. *shudders* compare him to that "human" mascot costume and see the difference. i just think its hella neat that they're doing it.
