How many people are planning on buying Sims Online? I'm thinking about it....haven't decided yet though.

I just love how people are complaining about the monthly fee. As if every other online MMORPG (which is what Sims basically is) game doesn't have a fee attached.

I have no time...I heard some guy field tested it during his office hours during the week, and since he didn't play over the weekend, it told him he didn't play enough and his game was over. GEEZ. Talk about taking over your life!

Let me start this off with: Booty rocks the hizouse!!!

He got me Sims Online for Christmas and the game is more awesome than I thought it would be. I'm still learning some stuff about it but so far, I'm lovin every minute of it.....now I just have to figure out how to get the husband playing.

it seems like a cool idea (I love the Sims!) but I'm not sure...

The cool part is that you really need to work with other people to do stuff. There aren't anymore jobs that you just disappear to for a day then come back. You work with other Sims to make a business and sell stuff. And when you're working on your skills, the more people doing the same thing at once, the faster it goes. For example, if you have 5 mirrors and there are 5 people practicing speech at them....it takes less time for you to level your charisma than if it was just you at the mirror.

And you can have up to 8 roommates to split the cost of the house. It's a lot more interactive than the offline versions of the game.

I think it's a pretty cool idea, but I have no intention of buying it. Not because it is bad or anything, but I'm pretty sure it would take over my life. I have already gone through 4 waves of Original "The Sims" addiction...I think I might destroy myself if I went online and started actually playing with other people...
