View Full Version : questions about Con

Say, what time should we be there? My co-worker used to volunteer at cons all the time and he suggested to be there by 9am, since the Dealers Room opens at 10 (I think). Also, how long is the Con?? And...I heard some Cons have you wear normal clothes in and get dressed while there...is that true for Neko-Con? Or can you just wear your costumes in from the beginning? And what about food and drinks? Can you buy them there??
And, one more questions, can I bring a camera?? I heard some rooms you're not allowed to take pictures in, right?
Thanks for answering them! Sorry there are so many of them! I appreciate it. See y'all on Saturday!!

doesn't matter when you want to get there..if you work there you might have to attend earlier.

con is usually starts at 8 or 10 am to 3 or 4 am

you can choose to dress up or not, it's all up to you, of course you can bring your camera, but do ask cosplayer before you snap the shot

hotel resturants and I know convention center have some that you can buy your food there.

and there's the mall down the street.

About the restrictions of camera, just avoid using cameras in very crowded areas, but I think they don't allow shots to be taken in the dealers room or that's what happened last year(crowded area).

yeah true..I think you just better not block people's way. I suggest bring cosplayer to the side wall than snap your shot~

I know all the events on schedule are from 12 noon and later friday and 10 am and later sat/sun. Costumed from whenever you get there if you like. Food drinks can usually be purchased there. Lots of food places nearby. Pictures should be limited to less crowded areas and non in dealer's room/art show/art auction/artist alley for the fact most things there are trying to be sold and a picture just won't cut it
