Say anyone know good online sites to buy manga. The ones I found either are too expensive or the shipping is too much for canada.

For normal sized manga I don't like paying more than 5-7 dollars usd.

I bought some from anime gamers but ugh they charged a lot for shipping! The manga I want by the way are (in japanese)

Fruits Basket
Pita Ten
And many more!

Well, www.animaxis.com used to charge cover price, but their shipping was KILLER @_@ And they are down anyway...

There is always http://japan-manga.jp , they charge cover price or lower, and their shipping is from Japan, but its not too bad. The only problem is, their search is messed up and their selection doesn't stay too up to date since its all used ToT

www.sasugabooks.com charges above cover price *and* the shipping can be much if you don't order a bunch of stuff, and if you order something out of stock, it can take FOREVER ToT (Not like Planet Anime though, who said "4-6 weeks" and ended up taking over a year and not even sending me all I ordered ToT)

Also if you know Japanese, I'm told www.amazon.co.jp and www.bk1.co.jp can be good and I heard the 2nd one can be cheap too! I'll probably be ordering from bk1 soon, if you are interested I can let you know how it goes.

I really need to find some cheaper places too though ToT Its hard to keep up with so many great comics ~o~

Have you tried kinokuniya?
shipping is 8$ USD to Canada I think if you order from their US site. They also have stores in New York, LA, Seattle to name a few.

Mandarake.co.jp is also a good place to dig up stuff. But from most part, they have more doujin than manga. shipping is really fast and pretty reasonable. around 1400 Yen, arrived in 3 days. I bought some artbooks. There is a service charge of 500 Yen if you order under 5000 Yen though. Also, make sure that in one shipment you order from the same store, or else they will charge you more for shipping.

ETA: forgot to add that i also use rakuten.co.jp they have amazing deals (100 Yen manga hell yeah!) but shipping is varied depending on the stores.
