From you ref. picture, it looks more like orange and white, then orange and yellow, but its not white and I know it. x_x

Well, you could always use like a yellow bath robe or kimono and sew only the orange blocks onto it, or vise versa, or you could sew it from scratch.

You may be able to find a pattern online using a search engine or something. I used to have a website that was deticated to cosplay, and it had alot of tutorials and walkthroughs for anime characters outfits and basic stle kimonos. I think it said something about Rin and it had a "cheat" way to make it, but I don't think I have the address anymore, nor do I think the site is still up. Its been about a year since I've last been to it.

I'm making Sango's kimono garb, so maybe once I find a way to get it done I can help you out more, but right now I'm nothing more then a waste of time to listen to.

I don't think I wanna just stick the squares of color on cause I'm not sure if it would look cheap or not, but I know I'll end up killing myself if i try to sew it...lol I dunno any other suggestions?

look around Jo Ann's or any other fabric store you can probly find a big checkered yellowish white/orange cotton pannel i think that contry-whatever makes one and then draw the littel circles.

What you could do is get a kimono pattern (link to a pattern below, available at any store that sells fabric including wal*mart) out of just lining or a very thin material, then sew the blocks of fabric onto the lining. It even comes with an obi pattern. Wow I just figured that out! I feel smart now.

if you cant find a material with the large squares already on it, make the kimono out of white material, then get the orange material[get something thats not going to frey] as well as the iron - on - material, attach the iron on stuff to the orange material [make sure you get the ultra thin stuff], and proceed to cut out the blocks,
iron on the material, and sew around the edges.
then go back after your finished and add the circles...

It looks like just a regular bow...judging from this pic...

Sorry you can't see much of the tie in the back, but it's the best I've found so far...I'll post anything else that comes up for you. Hope this one works! :)

Hmmm...not very good at this I'm afraid...:o but anyway...Have you tried Katie Bair's site? At the moment Rin isn't listed (I don't think...it's been a while since I went there...) under InuYasha, but you could request a quote. Except...oops...I forgot that she'd need pics. just as much as you would! O_O;; If I find something, I'll post it. :)

Sorry if this didn't help (appearantly like my last post[s]) and wasted your time. I try to help. Guess I shouldn't since I'm new and have nothing completed. Just planned and InProgress.
