It's not really backlit. It's lit from the bottom of the cover.

Aww man! I can't wait! I missed the GameBoy Color's vertical design... this is awesome! NOW i can go back to playing GameBoy with my left hand and surfing the net with my right!! (^_^)

It looks like it would hurt your hands after a while... like the regular GameBoys did when they first came out. I think I like the one thats out now actually, even if I do need to play near a lamp ^^;

yeah... hands always either fell asleep or hurt after playing GB color/pocket... I don't have that problem w/ the advance but I can't get over how awesome the new GBA looks! Now they just need to add a cell phone to it! (^_^)

meanies. I just got a black GBA grr... but if it plays all the same games I can on the traditional GBA I'm cool with that.

Noooo!!! This sucks, i don't wanna buy a new one. I just got perfectly happy with mine now, now I'll be thinking about this one now. Although it doesn't that sleek. Only if it was a MP3 player too.

I want one too.

You CAN get a professional to install a backlight to regular GBAs... ^^; I was looking at the new one and was like "Yay! I can buy one of these and not have to use my brother's anymore!".. but then I realized I prefer the new shape of the GBA, because the GameBoy does hurt your hands after a while. *shrug* I think I'm just going to get myself a regular GBA. The light problem doesn't bother me insanely much. o.o

I'm assuming you are talking about the Afterburner. There are down sides to putting that in. Since you open the case, the seal has been broken and air/dust can get inside even after you close the cover again. Not to mention that a lot of people had problems putting the film on. It's not an overly difficult job, but even if it's done well....you can still have problems later on.

Any reason as to why I should?

Because the topic has already been addressed in that thread?

This is merged. Redudant (i.e 3 Pages or Less Back) Topics are not really worth it..
