I'm looking for some sort of idea on how to tackle Testament's scythe from the Guilty Gear series...

The scythe handle, however, is going to be straight. I'm looking to make it light, but durable.

Thanks for any help/suggestions!

PVC piping or those shower curtain rod covers work for the handle too. Foam, rubber, or plastic could also work as the blade. *is amazed at how much it looks like a simplified version of the scythe i may attempt*

for the blade.you can use shower panels.sold@ home depot.
draw out the shape of the blade on the panel.then use tin snips
to cut out the shape.bamn your set!u can also use an exacto

A dowel would be stronger, and less likely to bend. PVC piping is light, but can break. If you showed me what the blade looked like I might be able to give you hand with that. You want something that is stiff. The shower panels, which I think he means back splash panels might work, but Id be more inclined to use something cheaper. Try maybe foam board with a styrene glued to it or just plain foam board with bondo on it.

I no longer have to worry about making the scythe...thanks for the help, though. My friend is making it for me for free...~_~
