Okay, Bleach fans, dust off your hakama and sharpen your enormous swords for Nan Desu Kan 2005!

(Well, as long as said enormous swords are peace-bonded, that is.)

I would do it if I had any bleach costumes.

Lauren...is that what you made with the black mystery fabric?

oh...random note....I was looking at the cosplay pictures in Animerica and I noticed that your picture is there. Your wearing your blue victorian gown and you look so cute. I know there's other people standing next to you...maybe
Makoto?

Lauren, you Makoto and Nick look awesome in that photo. Don't sell yourself short. Your famous! I know someone famous!

Well, I could make a bleach costume, but I've already made six costumes this year and I'm quite tired. I just have to make one more for MileHiCon/Halloween. Then I'm done. Whew! (Then the stupid costume making starts again during fall break. Arg.)

But thanks anyways. Your costumes look great. I'll be just be watching in the background. Watching very closely, too closely. Mhahahaha! :eeek:

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, I kind of want to join a group. I usually never cosplay with other people, but I guess this is a pretty cool costume. However, I do have a rule. I don't cosplay from things I don't know the series of. You'll have to show me some of the episodes and teach me how to make a hakama. Besides, how much is black bottomweight fabric at joanns anyways?

Just thought I'd chime in to ahleytori. For about forty dollars, you can pick up hakama, in multiple colors. Chinese stuff too. One red uniform, and some hair in a braid = perfect Ranma. But it takes about a week to show up.

Well, Dante_realremix, I decided I was not going to do the costume because I am just plain broke. Thanks though!

That's sweet, but I'll be watching all the awesome Bleach cosplayers from the crowd!

After a busy weekend of sewing, I think we have a group forming... and there's always always room for more! I'll update the first post with the current cast members. If you're interested in joining up, let me know and I'll happily add you to the list!

And of course, repeat characters are totally fine. :)

Friday Evening has been suggested as a photoshoot time. Thoughts? ^_^

*dies a tragic death* Oh my gosh, where did time go? Friday night is suddenly looking cluttered, while Friday afternoon is more open. I forgot the fighting game photoshoot was around 8, then the pajama party at 10. ummm, you guys just plan a time and I'll show. *nod*

Hmm... okay, so Final Fantasy is Saturday morning, and masquerade stuff is in the evening, so that kinda knocks that day out.

(Saturday is fine by our side of things, since we don't do FF cosplay nor the contest [laughs] but I want you guys to get sufficient time to rock out your awesome new FF costumes and not be too exhausted before masquerade time.)

Cosplay sign-up takes a big bite out of Friday from 5-7, then fighting games at 8 and pajamas at 10. Then Sunday, the Sailor Moon gathering is at noon...?

I worry that a gathering too early on Friday will find everyone still waiting in the (hopefully less hideously awful than last year's) registration lines. Gee, this is a toughie! ^_^

I know the only thing I have planned for is the princess shoot, so I'll be running around in short kimonos as much as possible the rest of the weekend. :-) Just tell me where I need to be to catch up to you awesome people!

I believe in light of last years reg lines the registration staff is going to try to open up a bit earlier as well as having more lines open. So hopefully lines won't be as bad this year.

Lady Neese ->I hope that's true! I would love to see NDK really make registration lines not so painful, especially so people aren't getting heat stroke out there in the sun.

So um..... maybe we should pick a time for our shoot? ^_~

Saturday @ 12:30 in the bar area, if it's too crowded than in the lobby by the coffee shop. ^_^

Be there or um..... be there!
