Hey, here's an interesting for all of you intrested. How does Yuna keep that tail thingy on her hair? How would you? I need to find a way to connect it to my hair in the back somehow, but, I can't think of a way to do it. Any suggestions?

I am not going to connect that to my hair. I'm connecting it to the hood. ^_^

I would connect it to the hood, as well. I believe Yuna's hair should be long enough in the back so that there won't be a gap between where her hair ends and where the hood & tail begin. It will be a lot easier to connect it there, too.

I might break my "no Yuna" cosplay rule to do the popstar....and it's in her hair ;.; How on earth am I gonna do that^^;

Put it on a headband (not those plastic ones, the ones that go all around the head), under the wig... you don't want to connect it to the wig or the weight will pull it back.

iiit's not part of her hair, it's coming out of the bottom of her hood.

it definitely is NOT coming out from her hood; her other outfits, such as popstar and warrior, which are hoodless, also contain the ponytail...and there are also a few good shots that show it in her hair even WITH the hood. (you have to squint, but its there)

on the other hand, I'm not against putting it in the hood if your hair is long enough (i know mine isn't. x_x) it's definitely more comfortable and efficient...

if your hair is long enough, couldn't you just braid it into your hair?

maybe it's just my computer being wonky, but I honestly can't see anything coming from her her to her braid thing. ^^; it just looks like the back of her neck.

Popstar Yuna for obviously reasons XD

There's a brief back view of the Popstar costume in the new trailer. The braid does indeed appear to be attached to her head.. though how she grew her hair to her ankles in two years, I don't get.

Yeah it's kinda... strange, but oh well lol. At first I thought it really was connected to the hood, but then I saw more pics and was all, "woah that's her hair" lol. My hats off to anyone w/ hair like that ^_~

It is coming out of her hair Claire x_X;; Here's a shot that clearly shows it (see attached)

I'm just going to braid mine into my hair as it is. No matter how heavy, with proper securaties, it won't fall out. However, for default Yuna, gunner if you will, I just have it around my neck.

.....why.... x.x;; did she like.. suddenly decided she needed a large rat tail? O_o;

How are you going to secure it in your hair? I am not wearing a wig. Don't need to. For the defalt, it does look like its under the hood, but not the popstar.

The way I made my tail is that I have a hole/ring at the top. I'm just going to split my hair and secure it under the ring with hair ties and clips.

Square continues to amaze me with this FFX-2 stuff. I like the look Yuna has with the pop-star, but then I'm against the whole idea of Yuna being a pop-star. As much as it works perfectly with my character, that is I LURVE karaoke and preforming, it doesn't quite match with Yuna. So, I'm quite sceptable about this entire game...

Frankly, I think the idea of Yuna singing is cool, though why she attached the tail to her hair is anybodys guess. Well, actually, I'm planning on wearing this costume while in the karaoke contest, cause it's cool and not revealing. I just want to play the game (X-2) b/c I- I like the FF series and II- I want to see more of Yuna and why she's in a popstar outfit. Wounder what she'll sing? I'll have to get that song... and practice it...

the more I see of the game the more I dislike it. =/ it's pretty, yes, and it's a Yuna cosplayer's dream come true that she has sooo many costumes.. but.. yeesh. >_<;

I really agree with Nessa on this one...not just with Popstar, but with several of each character's classes. Yuna as a fencer/warrior? Rikku as a dark mage? The class system thing worked back in the day of old school FF because the characters' personalities weren't so well developed and their roles set in stone. The concept of Yuna getting up on stage (while I love Yuna and love to sing as well) at a POP concert is just...awkward. I think that is exactly what Square is going for though... people purchasing the game out of nothing more than curiosity.

FFX was my favorite Final Fantasy, and if they end up ruining it with cheesiness, I will not be a happy Troppy. GRR. :P

As for that tail, I think I have decided I'm not going to bother filling it with hair. Seriously, who is gonna see in there anyway? Sponge material will work just fine for me, since it's thick and holds a shape, but is malleable as well. As Nessa said, the bottom can be an extension. NOBODY WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

im starting to think that maybe this popstar thing might actually be some mission they have to do, like a disguise thing...this has probably been mentioned before...but im only saying this because i just watched the popstar video thing, but seeing as how Paine is attacking people, maybe its sort of a "secret mission" type thing...maybe i should stop babbling...because ive also heard its a class

I actually have to agree with you on this, the singing is probally a mission, and a tension breaker, when things get to think. Like, the player, after a long battle or situation, can just sit back for a while and have fun and watch the video. Plus, I think its good for Yuna to have different classes to explore, so your not just focusing on one character to fight this monster, and another to fight that one, then switch... its not like FFX had a bad battle system, its just that now you can use a fav. character in more then one way, and to make them more powerful. Plus, I hope they still keep the sphere grid. I thought that was fun. It took off a lot of presure of leveling up by numbers, and every game (almost) uses experience points to level up, and the sphere grid was and nice break (and a tad bit easier). But, thats just me.

If you can afford it (which i'm assuming you can, but i will put an alternative) But a 5' long wig, grab a chunk undernath and braid the fabric around it, then cut the rest accordingly *and don't forget to save that hair as you may need it for costumes later on like if your wig is too thin*

BUT! If you don't haev the money for an uber-long one and you don't like that Idea, then get a long wig (like past soulder length) and do the saem idea 'cept. tie off the chunk underneath. Cut the rest and save it. take some yarn (as it's sturdy and lightwight) and tie it about midway up the chunk. Then roll out the yarn the desired length, then take a handfull of the remaining hair and tie it on the end. Then take a lightweight tube and fix it around it, then braid your fabric over the hair and the tube(this will hold them together)

I hope i've helped ^_^

I don't think they're going to keep the battle system or the sphere grid, as they aren't going to use the same people who designed the sphere grid and battle system. It's going to be "new."

Well, all I'm saying is that I liked that battle system, and hope that they don't revert back to the experience points.

EP, AP, MP, there's not really too much difference between them.

And like it needs to be said, but Square did away with the sphere boards system for FFX-2

Yeah they also went back to the old "Active Timing System" i think it's called. A.k.a. the old way of battling where hte bar had to fill before you made a move

Cool, guys I think that I know how I'm going to attach the tail to my hair. Oh, and, does anybody really like the fighting experience point gaining system over the Sphere grid?

Not i, i prefer the sphere grid. It took me a while, but it's easier to understand and use. I think it should be kept in FF
