I'm hoping to start my first costume, and while in the midst of trying to decide, I'd just like to have some help for cosplaying as the BHG ^__^

Such as...making these 'boot covers' I've been hearing about to go as her shoes? And if it's possible to somehow make socks like that xD And confirmation that she's wearing pants and not a skirt. And I suppose you can make the flowers and sew them onto the tank top somehow? ^^;; And her hair...some of it is clipped up in an outward way or something like that?

Thanks for anyone who comes to help! ^__^ I've attached the few pictures I have to aid if needed.

Cute Pirogoeth avatar. =^_^=
Shoes...not sure. There have been a few tutorials floating around about how to do the big Kingdom Hearts puffy Disney shoes.
Socks...You could actually wear layers. I was just at Macy's the other day and they had a whole rack full of socks that are "made" for layering. They are kind of thin and have NO elastic band at the top. The downside is that they kind of roll down a bit...but I got a cute pair that was light purple and dark purple striped. They come in lots of different colours.
Flowers...stencils and fabric paint.
Hair? Not sure. I can't see it very well in the reference pics. Sorry. :(
Skirt vs. pants? She looks like she's wearing shorts or culottes (EDIT: I had typoed this as coulattes). She definitely doesn't appear to be wearing a skirt to me in any of the pics you provided.
Hope this helps.

Hee, thankies! ^^ Piro's cool for making her up.

Thanks so much for the help. I'll have to look for some of those tutorials you mentioned. And stenchils and paint is so much easier than my method xD And it's all right. Maybe once the game is released in Japan better images of the BHG will be available.

What is a coulatte, though? ^^;

Oops...I spelled them wrong. That's what I get when I post something in a hurry! Sorry about the confusion.
Culottes are kind of like a cross between a skirt and shorts. I guess they'd be kind of like hakama, only not pleated. They come in a variety of lengths and fullnesses.
I remember seeing pictures of Victorian horseback riding outfits featuring full and elegant-looking culottes on the ladies with a nice fitted jacket and top hat. Very dashing...and very different from the pair I had to wear as part of my work uniform at my first job. heh

Oh, it's all right. Culottes, eh? Are they harder to make than just regular pants? ^^;

I don't think so...probably easier. They're just fuller, like a skirt that's been split up the middle.
You can find patterns for them so I was thinking it might be easier to look for a pattern for those instead of just shorts to modify.
