View Full Version : Inuyasha Wig Help

I'm looking for somewhere to get a decent Inuyasha wig. I ordered one from eBay a few months ago and was so very disappointed. First off, there was no skin cap and my hair showed right through it. Second, the back of the wig was so thin! Inuyasha's hair is full and thick in the back, and down to his waist!

Does anyone know where I can find something that's unique and accurate? I know of Katie Blair's site of course, but I want something within a couple months for a convention that will happen in March. Please help!

Try looking through the wig forum. Wearing a wig cap will help with the problem of your hair showing through, and you can find info on adding wefts to a wig to thicken it up. Katie Bair takes something like 3 wigs worth of hair to make her Inu Yasha wig if I recall so I doubt you'll be able to buy one single pre-made wig that's just right off the shelf.

*nods* Wigs with that length tend to not be that thick. You'd have to add extensions. It would take around 4 to 5 packs of them to get a wig that length to Inu's thickness.
There should be a tutorial on how to put wefts into wigs on the wig forum here and I think Katie Bair actually has one on her site as well.
