6th mix has Freckles. I love doing that. I only know of 2 in 5th mix, Dancing Ponpokolin and Lupin III. What else is there?

I was like that when I first started... Well if you play DDR, start with the 1 and 2 step songs. :)

I have to find a machine first. I'm not using the one at Mitsuwa, too many people gather around to watch. lol. I guess I have to swallow my pride and try ^^ I take it some of them are better than others (the mixes?), or is it a true fan kind of thing?

You can buy a machine on ebay. They go from $2,000 up. If I was not buying my condo, I would of bought 2nd mix. :-)

No, I've actually never been to the NJ Mitsuwa, for some reason. Oh yeah, cause I don't have a car . . . I'm talking about the one in suburban Chicago. lol they may well be near exactly the same inside.

Well, you *could* buy one on Ebay, but there's always the alternative of buying one from channelbeat.com or this other place which I forget the address to :P

Anyone heard of Pump? It's the Korean version of DDR, and they actually do it a lot better. The music is better, the art is way cuter, and the board is a lot more comfortable to play on. I think it has some anime tracks as well ^_^ The DDR Animix would have to have anime characters dancing on the screen instead of the usual cast too! Which anime characters would they have tho? Not many of them dance ^_~

I played PiU. I no like it. Around here, you can star a serious fight with the fanboys/girls with DDR and PiU. *shrugs*

*lol* Well, I had no intent to start a fight. All dance games should be played and enjoyed, so the people at the video game companies will get the idea and make lots more!

Point taken. But you do have them die hard fans that are willing to fight to make a difference. :hafha:

There's so many dancing games it's scary - but yes, all should be played and conquered XD

DDR ends up seriously pissing me off after a few songs. I start stomping so hard the machine decides it doesn't have to pay attention to me ^^;;. Yeah, the most coordination I have came with marching band, sooo saaaad :P.

But if there was an "Animix" I might play it more ^_^. I don't like a lot of DDR songs (well, from my HUGE experience :P). Maybe having songs that I LIKE would help. Some dance songs from Sera-Myu would be great *_*.

Ohh, there's a Pump it Up at the Boulevard Mall here. I've never tried it (since I'm always there alone, and usually need friendly backup to get me on one of those things :P). The controls are different, though. Which one is more difficult to play?

Hi everyone. This is Demon Hyo, creator of DDR Animix, from AnimeToshokan.com, home of DDR Animix. I am surprised to hear how interested you guys are in hearing about this mix. I will be bringing it to Anime Expo 2003 for the console gaming room and anime trivia contest complete with metal dance pads and a huge big screen (it's a pc port of stepmania altered to look like ddr with an animix based theme and sound files). Please tell your friends about it. There are over 150 songs in the mix ranging from 1 to 10 steppers from all types of anime and video game music (imagine ddring to cowboy bebop or pacman or even legend of zelda). Please check out http://www.geocities.com/hyo_kagami/ to see pics of the animix box art. Please support me and my crew to make ddr animix a true arcade game. Hope to see all of you at AX. Look for Alfred aka Demon Hyo. Have fun playing animix!

That's a pretty solid idea Ranma maybe you should send in a letter to Konami or something and see if you could get a piece of the action for your idea $$$$$$
