We're proud to announce KosaiKon AniFest 2003 taking
place on May 31, 2003 at Villanova University. A variety of anime
titles will be featured, as well as a highly anticipated anime
project being developed in the region.

Pre-registration for the event will be $13 until May 1, 2003. If space is still available, registration at the door will be $15. Space is limited to 100 seats.

Visit http://www.kosaikon.com for more information. (There are a few things on there that need to be updated, like the date at the top and specific location information. However, the pre-reg information is accurate.)

If you have questions or comments, feel free to post them here or email me at cassie@speakeasy.net

I did that on purpose. It's intended for the people who can't afford to fly to TX or FL for a con ;)

I'd really love to make it to this, but unfortunately it's scheduled on the same weekend as our lease here is up, and we already know we're moving somewhere else.. >___< I'll see how things go, but if I can make it, I'll hafta pay at the door. ^^

It'll be running from like 9AM until 10PM, so if you aren't sure if you can make it, you can email me and I'll see if we can set up a partial day pass or something :) (Depending on how much space is still available obviously)

*giggles at G-Chan* Texas is too hot anyway :D

Yeah..nothing huge. It's basically a movie theater type atmosphere....it would suck to have to sit next to someone wearing huge wings ;)

Since there has been worries about people not being able to get tickets, we have decided to allow ticket reservations. The cost will be $15 per ticket and you will only receive an email confirmation of receipt. You will pick up your tickets at the door, but by paying ahead of time, you will be guaranteed a ticket.

Reservation instructions are on the KosaiKon website at: http://www.kosaikon.com/register.asp

I hope you all had a great time! I unfortunately wasn't able to get off from work so couldn't make it down :( Hopefully I'll have a chance down the road!

I hear that. I felt like that kid made to sit out on Field Day. :dunce: Maybe next year I'll be able to go, too. Anyways, I'm really glad things ended up so well and congrats on the turnout, everyone.

Just an afterthought -- I thought it was a great way to spend the day and it was tons of fun. The anime choices were great too ^_~ I think the room was cracking up SEVERAL times... And hey... "And then... there was Ebichi". An anime which I don't understand, and for the sake of my brain, i don't think I want to! (hilarious none-the-less!)

Nice Work!

I'm glad people had fun. Hopefully I can get next year to be bigger and just as much fun! (Oh yes, one day I will get Kattikawn up here.....as an FYI- she's the one that drew the KosaiKon mascot, Twila.)
