To all the KH II Sora cosplayers out there! I need your help!
Which patterns did you use (and probably modified) when making your Sora costumes?
I'm trying to start planning out this Sora cosplay of mine. O_o

I'm going to try and make my sora costume with no pattern, and just go with what I think it should look like when making it.
I would think a capris pattern would work for his pants though.
Here are my notes so far. They were really light so i PS them to make it darker.
which sora costume are you making?

I'm making the KHII one (his normal one).
I've never made a costume without a pattern before. And I haven't made many overall either. Not using a pattern makes me nervous, afraid I'll mess up...ruin the material I got...
Nice sketches you got there. ^^

I've decided to take the plunge and make Sora's wisdom form outfit... I'm actually going to devote a year to making one... Anyone have any tips on the construction?

My friend Ale_g here made a KH2 Sora commision for her friend. I saw her do it in school. She used a pattern for some of it but not all. I know the jacket and shorts for sure.
For the chap part of Sora's costume she sketched a pattern out. It wasn't that hard of a pattern either. Looked rather simple since it was two based. The upper part and then the bottom "belled" part. She used elastic on the bottom so it would stay "poofed" up. She then attatched the shorts she made to the chaps.
She used a regular jacket pattern with a hoodie to make the top. She completely lined it and added the welt pockets. I belive she made the inner shirt seperatly from cotton stretch material.
Hope this helps!
You could check out her gallery and see it. Its very well made.
p.s. Ale wouldn't mind you looking through her gallery XD I asked her and she said it was ok.

I made Sora last year...
I bought a pattern that included workout pants and jackets (I shortened the sleeves and the jacket length) for the jacket. I used a pair of jean shorts for the blue part of the pants, and bought boys' sweatshorts for the black, which I then cut out and added trim to. I bought a shirt at Old Navy for his blue shirt. ^_^
And I actually don't feel guilty about buying all that, since it still cost me less than $100. yay!
Best of luck!
