Hi, um..... I'm just wondering, has anyone tried cosplaying KH2 Sora forms? Sorry for a very stupid question:thumbsup:

When I'm done with my 07's cosplay and when I'm done with my Hinata from Naruto cosplay, I'm thinking about going uniuqe by doing KH2 Sora's Lion form (when he goes to the Pride Lands^^).

Also, over at MTAC this year, I saw a KH2 Sora in his Wisdom form and I know I saw a couple of KH2 Sora's in his regular clothes. I keep thinking that I saw a KH2 Sora in his Valor form............. oh well, hopefully there will be more at MTAC 07:bigtu:

Pride Lands Sora... Would you do a full fur suit/ mascot kinda thing or a "human" version?
Ah oh well..
Sora's forms... I'm doing Valor to go with my default Sora.

I am currently plannin out Tron Sora for Ohayocon 2007. (If I have enough time/money.) If not Ohayocon then a convention a bit later in 2007.

Well..... if I do get to it (hopefully I do:thumbsup: ), I'll do a "human" version cause it's alittle easier^^ For now, it's a cosplay plan AFTER I do Hinata from Naruto (in 2008)

If you're strapped for cash and supplies, you can always take an old wire hangar and bend it around to make the general shape of the wings and then drape some cloth over it & sew it shut. I did that for a Devil Zukin costume when i was young and it turned out really well. It moves and sways, but keeps its general shape.

Anyway, I'm in the middle of making a Final Form Sora and it's dastardly complicated for my level of n00bness lol- especially since its my first costume without any help whatsoever. But I'm excited about it, and hopefully I get it done for PMX.

Good luck on your cosplays guys!

I'm doing that for Anime Boston, and it makes my eyes bleed just thinking about it. D:

Um...Well, if it all works out...Some time in the next two years, I'm supposed to have a group with regular KHII Sora, Halloween Town Sora, and maybe Final Form or Valor Form.

ThoughI'd be going as Regular KHII Riku (like, from the end-ish.)...So...yeah...(Three Soras and one Riku...? O: ....*evil laugh* >=D )

Best of luck to all of you though. My only confirmed Sora is having a damned hard time with her costume...Poor thing. D:

Well, if you want any hints or tips on making a pridelands version, just drop me a line. That'd be an awesome and unique costume idea.

Using 9 gauge wire you could get them to hover from your hips with a harness made like a fighter pilots belt. As for the keyblades they would have to be made from foam, either insulation foam if you want it 3D or foam core/board if you just want the general shape.

My friends and I are doing Wisdom, Anti, Halloween Town, and Tron Sora's at Otakon next year.

That is excellent advice! The hovering keyblades would serve as a marvelous and perfect effect. Foam core is also a blessing for props: It was once my favorite material to use, although I have begun to deeply adore wood, due to the added durability and capability for three-dimensional shaping.

I am working very hard to complete a Valor Form Sora costume from Kingdom Hearts II for my Spring conventions - I am hoping to debut it at Katsucon, but if that becomes an impossible prospect, it shall definitely be finished for Anime Boston.

Thus far, I have begun my keyblades, the Star Seeker and the Hidden Dragon. Star Seeker is nearly prepared for sealing and painting, but I just cut the shape of the Hidden Dragon several days ago, and much sanding is required. If anybody would like to view them, I was fortunate enough to take a progress photo:
