I need help on some particular piecs for a costume I'm doing for an original character. I need to figure out a way to make the hat and see-through top connected to the necklace in this picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/DarkstarApocalypse/avvy%20art/found%20art%20for%20characters/girls81.jpg

I figured out kinda how to make the see-through top but I don't know what to make the necklaces out of. Also I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to make the skirt.

The main thing I need help with is the hat/headscarves. I want it to be more of a hat to hold all my hair up in it than a headscarf to tie. So if anyone has any ideas or can help me with pattern-making/finding.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Friendly Plastic.....can't remember the manufatures name but do a google to find it. This stuff works great for all jewelry needs, it can be painted and also you can use rub n buff to make almost any metal type finnish. It starts as clay.....you can sculpt just about any type of bracelet or neclace. try it,....leave a post on the result.

Go down to the Hardware Store. Buy some of that stiff-ish vinyl tubing, a few of 1’ long by however thick you want it, another few of the biggest size you can stuff into the long pieces, just a few inches long. Stuff the smaller ones in the bigger ones and paint to suit. No guess as to the price, but it can’t be that much. Should be easy-ish to get off, too, when the time comes.

What part of the costume would this be for though?

And Lord-MacRae I'll try that. See how it works and put my observations on here.

EDIT: well i found some info online. there's pellets and then already colored strips. what would you recommend?
