I just started these cons. and already have a hard time trying to get a costume together....sounds odd to ask but if there is anyone that can help make or help gather to make a costume with or for me....that would be great, thanks.

Well, I know people on here will give you any advice you may be needing, but I don't know of anyone who would do the work for you! You can always look around for someone to comission, as I do know cosplayers who will make a costume for money, but it will definitely be expensive, and some of the joy of cosplaying is lost, I've found.

We all learned through trial and tribulation, every one of us!

If you think of a costume you would like to make, just ask people on here to give you advice and ideas on how to do some things, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of response! The needle and thread part, though, are up to you o.-

And if you don't know how to sew, your local fabric store will probably offer lessons. Take advantage of them! I only learned how to sew less than a year ago, and since then I have gone so far... Hand sewing a vinyl dress, after only 3 months of knowing how to sew? If I can do it, anyone can!

Good Luck!

I do work on commission, if you get desperate. I try to keep my prices low, but it really depends on the costume. (http://kiss.to/ingenue) I'll be glad to give you any advice that I can though!

Hey hey . . . Lake Forest, what state? ^^

And, I second what Shadra said. ^^ Trust me, it's more fun to make the costume yourself. Pick somebody you think you'd like to do, and then we'll help you out.
